Yesterday, a friend of mine and her husuband in USA , went to see "The Queen" and thought it was well done.
She writes :
" The movie presents a provocative perspective of the Royal family's response when Diana died. Certainly no one on the "outside" knows the real facts, but this story seemed an interesting possibility. Watching it made me feel empathic for the Queen and her family. Two thumbs up for "The Queen".
How interesting. I have yet to see " The Queen " .
Empathy is a good thing. From what I know , her Majesty and Prince Charles,has not had an easy life. They do their best, as we all do. I would not want to be in their shoes, no, not for all the tea in China , but I would like to meet them , to sit down and have afternoon tea with them and a nice long natter.
