My day so far

by miramaze @ Friday, 29. Dec, 2006 - 13:14:19

The day so far :

Dream:
Dreamt that ARA was baby and was carrying him around. KB was there. The Who were being interviewed and they were really modest. " Well in those days we were really famous , but now , nobpdy cares "

Birthday :
Phoned PPL for her birthday, just missed her. Spoke briefly to SPL

Health and well-being

Got an appointment with specialist at Karolinska 1 February who is going to tell me something really good about my knee wot I didn’t know and wot will help me lots

Work :
AS has paid the deposit for DTW course. Bravo thus energising this project .Let there be more.

Reminded that Everything you experience as solid and "real" is a vibration of energy - held, or locked in place, by belief systems.

Thoughts:

I keep getting this message that there are several realities, several outcomes, several parallel realities that could always manifest..

I and others,.. we are ALL broadcasting energy in the form of our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs ... and we are doing it all time.( oops just thought about Saddam awaiting execution by hanging ... morbid .... even though he has been a very naughty man )
yes.... several realities are always possible. I am not quite sure that the reality that manifests is the one you have focused more of your energy on. If this were so , I would really be up shit creek without a paddle ..hehehe .. I’m laughing but am I happy ?

Emotions :

Emotions are key in the manifesting process. I know that when I am feeling great ( and it does happen ) things I want to happen happen easily and effortlessly.

Yes . Emotions are energy in motion. They bring us information if we are willing to experience them.

reminding myself to STOP and PAY ATTENTION. Allow them to be and to speak to me. ....embrace them fully .. that’s it !

An Awareness :

i am aware that I make a dive for the internet in the morning to see what's happened while I have been sleeping and also hoping for some good news, something miraculous, outstanding .....something encouraging and enlightening.WWW my guru !

Regret :

Still haven't sent Rita a condolences card. Sad. I really liked Roland . He was a good man may he rest in peace . Can't seem to get it together. What to say ? That's the problem.

O3:44 a.m. inside the miramazing mind

by miramaze @ Thursday, 28. Dec, 2006 - 16:18:02

horsecartWoke up again in the middle of the night 3:44 am with an anxiety attack. How does that happen ? Why ?

Somehow fearful thoughts must have been meandering through my unconscious mind making a nuisance of themselves.

I turn on the light and switch off my mobile phone which is recharging convinced that it is radiating harmful rays that are the cause of my fear.

A quick visit to the loo and then sleep and dreams until 11 am !

In my dream I am staying in a village in a small but friendly bed and breakfast place. Every day , a man with a horse and cart selling vegetables stops by right outside. I but a bag of veggies from him - two tomatoes that peel easily and something else - not clear what. He charges me 8 p , I give him a pound and say " keep the change" - really good value, I think to myself .

Also in my dream is a square filled with lots of creamy white caravans which I think is silly and ugly. Why crowd the m all together in one space ? They could spread them out and have tents scattered between them and amongst them. Would be more interesting

Very silly *chuckles *

by miramaze @ Monday, 25. Dec, 2006 - 01:19:57

madonna lilies Taking a peaceful moment here around Midnight on Christmas Eve to wish you all BEAUTY and BLISS in all dimensions.

Christmas Eve is the day that I celebrate. Dinner with nearest and dearest and presents. My guests arrive for dinner as the sun sets. Candlelight spreads its magic light and the divinely heady scent of the many Madonna lilies fills my place with delight together with splashes of red from dozens of red roses.

Creme Ninon and Champagne to start with with freshly baked bread rolls , followed by baked salmon with all the timmings , roast potatoes , yams , chantarelle mushrooms, sweetcorn, carrots, brocolli, and my special Christmas cream and sherry sauce made from scratch with TLC. Chocolate truffle cake for dessert and mandarine oranges. The cardamom cake I'd baked in answer to a craving didn't get touched .

So ....Taking a moment now to sending us all LOVE and PEACE from my heart and soul to yours , to all our dimensions ............ ......... ...OMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMM shanti shanti ommmmmmmmm
love.. love .. love ............ .. from me and the music of cesaria evora that is playing ................

Christmas cards

by miramaze @ Friday, 22. Dec, 2006 - 16:36:27

angel chimesI only sent two Christmas cards this year, one was to my mother and the other to D.D. an old flame from college days who sends me a card every single year, bless him and it warms my heart every year. A very special relationship;innocent soul contact, love , if I dare to say, that has survived the years. There should be 35 cards somewhere. I haven't thrown them away. not on purpose, anyway.

Imagine my surprise when MT's card came today and it was the SAME as the one I sent to my mpther. WHat are the chances of THAT happening ? I chose mum's card specially- a picture of a gnome m christmas tree, box of matches and one of those angel chime carousels .. you know the ones I mean ? My son signed it and even commented " That's a nice card , where did you get that ? " Not like him at all,

MT is LT's grandmother , my son's first serious girlfriend and a very dear member of my extended family. I always feel a deep love connection when I think of MT.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cosy lovey dovey feeling inside now .. I am touched by the spirit of Christmas ... or just plain old sentimental ?

Fountain pens

by miramaze @ Thursday, 21. Dec, 2006 - 17:42:21

I love fountain pens.

My first love at the age of six ,a maroon Parker Lady with a tiny gold nib. I took it to school one day and it was stolen, but I got it back.

Many years later, somewhere in the 80s , I lost my dear Pary Lady , in town somehwere , I think. *sighs* Lost forever. I never did get her back.

The other day , I gave a friend an inexpensive, but very yummy Parker Reflex Fountain Pen as a Christmas present. She borrowed mine once and fell in love with it. Anyway , her delight soon turned to despair as she LOST ita few days later or it was stolen and despite chasing round the whole of Stockholm she was unable to replace it. I must have bought the last two Parker Reflex Fountain Pens. She was told they were not getting any more in. The other department stores have also stopped selling fountain pens.

What IS the world coming to ? When I do see fountainpens now , they are all hugely expensive , Rolls Royve versions.

On my visits to Bradford , which is where I come from , sadly all the decent shops have disappeared. WHSmiths and Boots are hopeless. Is this typcial of the rest of the country ? I wonder. Lackaday .

Anayway , a Parker Reflex Fountain Pen with Comfort Grip is what I am looking for. Should you find one in your local supermarket do let me know cost p&P . Thanks .

Blessed be all fountain pens and ink cartridges, especially the inexpnsive ones that make writing such a pleasure .

21st December , Winter Solstice

by miramaze @ Thursday, 21. Dec, 2006 - 15:32:20

21st December , Winter Solstice. The shortening days and longer nights are most intense here in Sweden, but from today onward our days start getting longer. Blessed be.

The pagan in me feels the need for ritual to mark this occasion. I’ve just had a solstice nourishing breakfast and now savouring the chocolate darkness of my coffee. Willl light candles as the sun sets ( it is actually beginning to set now as I write this , 2.30 pm )

In neopaganism, the winter solstice sabbat is often called Yule. – which is also the Swedish word for Christmas. Lots of pagan rooted traditions here . Perhaps that is why I am here too. This is really a time for introspection, and planning for the future, I know I keep saying this. I tend to write and reflect more around the new moon and the full moon.I need this time. Quiet , peaceful, leisurely , serene, introspective time.. love it .. and the golden coppery sunset shines in and onto my keyboard, agreeing with me.

Yesterday , 20th , marked the new moon which is a time for new beginnings. The moon is waxing now and supporting our festivities and gatherings until the full moon on 3rd January.

Happy solstice , everyone !

How are you ?

by miramaze @ Thursday, 21. Dec, 2006 - 13:52:07

I mean apart form the ritual How are you ?
How are you feeling ? Here and now ?

WHat would an honest authentic tuned in respnse sound like ?

I'm thinking it might read something like a description of a wine .

Melancholic ........tinge of sadness.. .....a smudge of serenity ......some higher tones of delight.....an after taste of calm ....

It might include images :

a flowing river ......a mist at dawn....a simmering pot........crackling fire ... or a volcano about to erupt ?

.. or smell , a scent.. singed hair ......fried onions ......wet wool ....bergamot ... lavender .... coffee ?

how are YOU , here and now ?

My words of wisdom for today

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 20. Dec, 2006 - 15:17:13

let go of feeling obligated to engage in rituals or situations that make you feel unhappy.

Follow your bliss.

It is easy to get lost in the trance of tradition and lose track of who you really are and what serves you as you are now.

Ask yourself " What do I really want ? " then give it to yourself .

Mind your own business. If you are in someone else's business , you have abandoned yourself.

There are countless futures, all of which exist at the same time. parallel universes are a reality! According to physics, the moment we make a decision, the universe splits, and our alternative decision and fate branch out into another reality.

Take time to sort through any baggage that’s nagging you and face up to these nagging feelings; hear them outand free yourself from their nagging.

Laugh.

Breathe .

What are the thoughts that kick me out of heaven ?

What would it be like to live my truth without excusing, defending , explaining or justifying my thoughts and actions to others ?

Do I really need to lose weight ? Or do I simply want to feel and be lighter ? Feel safer ?

This is a new holiday season altogether

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 20. Dec, 2006 - 14:50:02

This is a new holiday season altogether, and we can find joy in the fact that we can make it our own and let it be new.

I find this a most helpful thought. My memories of Christmases past are a very varied a very mixed bag. There are some beautiful wondrous highlights and a few cloudier ones. In my experience, the Magic of Christmas has always been there but it is as if the joy and the magic can get clouded over by stress , expectations , duty and obligations.

For the past few years I have consciously decided not to get caught up in the stress and the insanity of pre-Christmas preparations and  I am still perfecting this art. Living on my own this is relatively easy and I know that thereis a huge difference bewteen " alone " and " lonely". I know now that as long as I have my thoughts , I am never alone or lonely. Creating my own experience is so precious to me. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to practise and perfect this creativity year after year.

This year I will share my Christmas with my son  and R.P-L who is " extended family ", P.P-L's  ex and S.P_L's  father. So, I will be with two beautiful dear souls, roses and lilies, candlelight, good food and drink and of course the Spirit of Christmas.

Maybe one day , I will be doing this together with a special someone .. maybe not. I must admit to a longing. It will be interesting to find out.In the meantime I am " Loving What IS " This journey is so full of surprises , miracles and magic. Blessed be.

Lots of Love and Light to us all and hugs all round  !
