After adventures in the real world- back again in front of computer screen.Familar place
It was great seeing everyone again. L. looked fabulous and very Parisienne. Son,A,gorgeous as always. He's looking more and more like his Venezuelan father. Tells me he's going over to New York in May to see pappa and a few of his own friends that are there.
The cultcha was weird . Monica Bonvincini is supposed to be an award-winning multi-media installation artist. What we saw was great gaping holes in the plaster floor , This artist is certainly curious about the relationship between architecture, constructions and gender. Part of the exhibition was framed questionnaires filled in by construction workers in half a dozen languages. Questions like " Do you find buildings erotic ?" and " What is the most common word or phrase among construction workers ?"
There was also a noisy family there - a very tall man , short woman and their 2 year old toddler. The toddler tried to eat parts of the exhibition and ran around the place cheerfully , while tall dad gave a running commentary about the exhibits to someone on his mobile phone . In a way it added another dimension to the exibition .. they were everywhere .I've never seen 3 people take so much space. It was fascinating .
Afterwards my son took me out for an Indian meal and the King prawns Masala were to die for ! mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
All in all a good day out ITRW . A good time was had by all.
