DESIRE is the starting point

by miramaze @ Sunday, 18. Mar, 2007 - 18:52:21

DESIRE IS THE STARTING POINT FOR SUCCESS

If you have the desire you have the power to be
successful.
You can really have anything you want in life if
you go after it.
But you have to want it.

The first thing that will contribute to reaching
your goal
is that you simply want to reach it badly enough.
You must learn how to desire with sufficient
intensity to be successful.

As a drowning soul desires air,
as a shipwrecked person craves fresh water,
so must you feel that intense, eager, insistent,
demanding,ravenous desire for your success.

Your desire for success must be so strong within
you that it becomes the very breath of your life.
It must be your first thought when you wake up,
and your last thought when you go to bed at night.

You can have anything you want if you go after it with intensity.

THE DAILY GURU

I know desire is the starting point. How is desire awakened when there is no desire ? Any thoughts on this ?

martini meme from meno

choclatemartini

You're an elegant drunk, who only likes the best bars and the most expensive drinks.
A bit of a cheapskate, you're likely to mooch ten dollar drinks off both friends and strangers.

You should never: Drink and dash. You're gonna get caught leaving someone with the tab!

Your ideal party: A posh celebrity party you crash, with an open bar.

Your drinking soulmates: those with a Classic Martini personality

Your drinking rivals: those with a Blueberry Martini personality

I'm not a martini drinker - the only exception is a brandy alexander as a dessert

Mother Earth and all mothers, blessed be

gaiya

Gaia or Gaea, known as Earth or Mother Earth (the Greek common noun for "land" is ge or ga). She was an early earth goddess and it is written that Gaia was born from Chaos, the great void of emptiness within the universe, and with her came Eros. She gave birth to Pontus (the Sea) and Uranus (the Sky). This was achieved parthenogenetically (without male intervention). Other versions say that Gaia had as siblings Tartarus (the lowest part of the earth, below Hades itself) and Eros, and without a mate, gave birth to Uranus (Sky), Ourea (Mountains) and Pontus (Sea).

Mother,
You are the soul of the Earth.
You are the drops of rain on a Spring Morning.
You are the cold silence of falling snow.
You envelope all life in your Life.

If you really knew me you'd know ....

" If you really knew me you'd know ....... "

This comes from a show Oprah did called Teen Challenge , an experiment that attempts to confront violence issues in schools .

I'm going to invite you to respond to this " If you really knew me you'd know ..... "

Me : If you really knew me, you'd know that I value two- way communication.

Esoteric

by miramaze @ Sunday, 18. Mar, 2007 - 14:39:00

What is esoteric ? We were discussing this the other day. Someone said there's esoteric and Esoteric , capital E.

es·o·ter·ic

–adjective 1. understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest; recondite: poetry full of esoteric allusions.

2. belonging to the select few.
3. private; secret; confidential.
4. (of a philosophical doctrine or the like) intended to be revealed only to the initiates of a group: the esoteric doctrines of Pythagoras.

[Origin: 1645–55; esoterikós inner, equiv. to ester(os) inner + -ikos -ic]

—Related forms
es·o·ter·i·cal·ly, adverb

—Synonyms 1. abstruse, arcane, cryptic, enigmatic.

Online Etymology Dictionary - Cite This Source
esoteric

1655, from Gk. esoterikos "belonging to an inner circle," from esotero, comp. adv. of eso "within." In Eng., originally of Pythagorean doctrines. According to Lucian, the division of teachings into exoteric and esoteric originated with Aristotle.

To me it seems that nothing much is esoteric these days , it's all going mainstream.

The walls of silence are tumbling down or becoming transparent; the internet has significantly contributed to this.

There is also the personal accessing of the Akashic records, "The Source " and direct alignment to " All That Is " . There is not the same need for an intermediary these days , not in the way it used to be.

Maybe we are heading towards ONENESS .
Maybe these are the early signs.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

And now , the end is near

A saturday evening draws to a close.

I'm feeling very silly after seeing the " Always Look on The Bright Side clip " on someone's blog , Good old monty python . My python , Monty , is named after them.

Znethru's tomato pic is funny .. it gets funnier. It's one of a series - can't wait to see the rest

One of these days I'll get a digital camera.. revenge ;)

I shall go to bed now , knowing that the ironing has been done and just needs to be put away tomorrow.

PEACE .. LOVE .. LAUGHTER and death by chocolate .. in most dimensions xxxx night night
