Night Night .. enjoy the blue moon !

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 23:40:51

http://www.photogalaxy.com/pic/marbo-48/blue_moon.jpg

Silver

Slowly, silently, now the moon

Walks the night in her silver shoon;

This way, and that, she peers, and sees

Silver fruit upon silver trees;

One by one the casements catch

Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;

Couched in his kennel, like a log,

With paws of silver sleeps the dog;

From their shadowy cote the white breasts peep

Of doves in a silver-feathered sleep;

A harvest mouse goes scampering by,

With silver claws and a silver eye;

And moveless fish in the water gleam,

By silver reeds in a silver stream.

Pure Potentiality

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 15:19:18

About ten years ago I picked up a little gem of a book called " The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success " by Deepak Chopra . Blogland is like a field of pure potentiality too.

The first law of success, The Field of Pure Potentiality is based on the fact that we are, in our essential state, pure consciousness. Pure consciousness is pure potentiality; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity. Pure consciousness is our spiritual essence. Being infinite and unbounded is also pure joy. Other attributes of consciousness are pure knowledge, infinite silence, perfect balance, invincibility, simplicity, and bliss. This is our essential nature.

How can we apply the Law of Pure Potentiality, the field of all possibilities, to our lives? Read more here :

About The Author

Deepak Chopra is the author of numerous books including "Ageless Body, Timeless Mind", "Quantum Healing", and "Creating Affluence". He lectures throughout the U.S., blending venerable Eastern wisdom and cutting edge Western science with dynamic results

The next 20 to 30 years ( Deepak Chopra )

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 15:06:31

BW: What do you see happening in the next 10 to 20 years?

DC: I see that the use of violence to resolve conflict is becoming to be looked at as a most obscene act in society. I see that people, governments and institutions that resort to violence to solve problems will be looked at as uncreative. They will not be considered part of the creative environment that we create.

I see a restoration of our ecological balance. I see an emerging economy that will be much more equitable so that the problems between the rich and the poor will stop and everyone will have enough to maintain a decent life.

I see a nurturing of our fundamental needs: survival, safety, love and belonging. As well as our higher needs for creative expression, achievement and for our sense of connection with the sacred. I think this should become and will become the focus of a new humanity.

( I add my love energy to the above vision. So be it and so it is . :) )

There are not many people I can share my weird thoughts with

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 14:17:14

I hear this all the time and just shared this with ozzzy. What did we all do before Blogland ?

Were we just keeping our innermost " weird" and wonderful thoughts to ourselves ?

Maybe diaries and journals got to hear them .

*thinks* I have yet to come across a really really weird thought.

Why do we tend to be embarrassed by our thoughts ?
Why do we push them away like the plague ?
Why are some thoughts unwanted ? ..awww .. poor things :(

It's not always easy or possible or convenient to share thoughts with people around us . They might think we are weird ..strange .. odd. They might be envious and think " why didn't I think of that ? " or they might ....they might ..... and the mind runs amok ! lol

I hear this all the time " There are not many people you that I can share
these thoughts with "

THANK YOU , Blogland and compassionate empathic non judgemental friends . I love and appreciate you.
Bless !

Transformation

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 12:54:55

IA gave me Ralph's name and phone number on Sunday.

" If I were to give any advice to anyone Swedish or otherwise I would say study the meaning and the effects that the following words have on your life; great liberation can come from their transformation.

1: FEAR
– what fears if any, do you have and how do they control you?

2: NEEDS
– what needs do you have and why?

3: EXPECTATIONS
– what are your expectations really about?

4: FEELINGS
– are these feeling mine or someone else is?

If you follow your feelings close enough they will take you to the light! Trust your intuition; follow your dreams – as in visions of life. Keep an open mind and heart to all experiences that come your way, because somewhere and at some time you have asked for them! It is through acceptance that we graduate into forgiveness.

Love and light too all, Ralph K. Jenkins "

Thank you,Ralph

Raising consciousness

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 12:48:30

“No problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it. We must learn to see the world anew.”
-- Albert Einstein

When we apply this quote to our lives, we can see that we cannot create abundance by staying in a consciousness of poverty, nor can we gain a sense of power in our lives while identifying ourselves as a victim.

Situations begun from anger or fear can have little chance of reaching a state of peace and trust unless someone involved can conceive of that possibility and act upon it.

We need to find ways to step outside of our limited understanding in order to seek a bigger picture.

One way to do this is by shifting perspective seeing the situation from another’s point .....the perspective of all others involved. This alone can shift feelings of anger to compassion and the desire for a positive solution for all concerned.

I now intend to open my mind to greater possibilities,
I am learning to think big
I am learning to think outside the box ( this phrase has become so mainstream )

I realise that I can connect to my higher self for inspired solutions. From this wise place of peace and calm at the centre of my being .. or what Gary Zukov calls " the seat of the soul " .. form this place gain distance from my sometimes overwhelming emotions and panic to connect to intuitive wisdom.

From this place understanding comes and the clues to " HOW " or what needs to be done.

I am so aware these days of guidance- guidance both visible and invisible .

Albert Einstein showed us the impact that can be made when we raise our consciousness and allow ourselves to imagine the possibilities and the possibilities are LIMITLESS.

We are limitless beings.
All is well.
Everything is possible.

Ebb and flow

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 12:36:58

There is an ebb and flow to everything.
Tide comes in .. tide goes out.
This is the natural order of things
It's no use trying to push or force.

Relate this to income and money.
There are times when there is a lot of money coming in and there are times when there is more going out than coming in.

The flow is interesting
There is flow in everything.

Sometimes there are blocks. Question is then,,where ? What is blocking ?

BUT ... th esupply is ENDLESS ,, .. it is INFINITE .
This is both good news and bad news *chuckles to herself * I see abundance all around me .. an abundance of things .,.a n abundance of mess... an abundance of dust bunnies .....abundance of worries and fears and concerns... an abundance of overwhelm !!! Less of that

So from now on I specify, dearest Universe .. please send and abundance of money, joy , pleasure, laughter, wine ,inspiration, ideas , beauty and all that . Comprende ? Good. We are in sync. :)

Getting organised at noon

by miramaze @ Thursday, 31. May, 2007 - 12:28:14

Logging on at noon.
Waking up with love and ease.
It's like bathing in thoughts.
Morning rituals finished.
Have started using google calender - wonder how that will work out.
*makes note to herself to remember to water the plants as part of daily routine.* Maybe it is best to water them at the end of the day before going to bed- drinkies and little chat ... part of evening ritual.
See .. am getting organised :)

Rami's wall

Rami is a womnderful guy from a neighbouring Blogland whom I've met twice in real life, yet another example of a soul connection and bless him, he is getting married in a few day's time !

I first met Rami from Jordan two years ago I think He'd invested his life's savings to study Global Journalism in Örebro. When the course was over he said he wanted to stay.Rami dared to follow his heart and dreams and has now found his treasure. I am so happy for him

Evening falls

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 30. May, 2007 - 22:53:03

I've re- potted a plant. There is soil and water all over the floor in the blue room , so my plan is to leave it to dry so that I can vacuum it uplater and wash the floor.

In the meantime cleaned the kitchen , but left the foor. That can be done when I do the floor in the other room. :)

Watched Greys Anatomy . Sad :( George's father had to be unplugged. Everyone was sad.

Caught a snippet of news: There'd been an attempted robbery in Solna , which is within walking distance of where I live. Shots had been fired and there were empty shells scattered around between the police cars.. and apparently a shirt covered in blood! The robbers had bungled it and got away with nowt ! Ha !

I'm wondering whether or not to make a blue cheese broccolli and walnut quiche or have an early night and get up at a decent hour tomorrow. I have had so many late nights.

Say what you want ( Abe )

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 30. May, 2007 - 16:41:18

As you begin to state what you do want, rather than clamoring about what you don't want, you come into your own power. When you come into your own power, you feel better. And when you feel better -- those who love you also feel better. ;

Abe quote, excerpted from a workshop in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, May 29th, 1999 All Is Well

The scandal

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 30. May, 2007 - 15:04:37

The scandal ( see previous post )

It was especially the final masturbatory gesture of the choreography that caused the scandal which followed the first performance. In the newspaper Le Figaro editor Gaston Calmette wrote:

"We have had a faun, incontinent, with vile movements of erotic bestiality and gestures of heavy shamelessness."

To him Nijinsky's dance was "the too-expressive pantomime of the body of an ill-made beast, hideous, from the front, and even more hideous in profile," and his paper started a campaign against the ballet.

In reply, the sculptor Auguste Rodin published a defense of the choreography and in a letter to Le Figaro painter Odilon Redon expressed the wish that his friend Mallarmé could have seen "this wonderful evocation of his thought."

*mira thinks ...I LOVE IT ! * :) When I saw the film " NIJINSKI " I remember Nijinski saying after the performance as he was being booed off the stage

" It was not me ... it was the faun "

Genious and madness .. RESPECT , mon !

Wild thing, 1912

http://www.voiceofdance.com/hpimage/joffrey_faune1.jpg

This is by far the best ballet I have ever seen. WILD . EROTIC. SENSUOUS !! Far ahead of it's rime.

" ....a young faun meets several nymphs, flirts with them and chases them, was deliberately archaic. In the original scenography designed by Léon Bakst the dancers were presented as part of a large tableau, a staging reminiscent of an ancient Greek vase painting. They often moved across the stage in profile as if on a bas relief. The ballet was presented in bare feet and rejected classical formalism. The work had an overtly sexual nature for its time and ended with a scene of simulated masturbation..... "

Who dares to say ballet is boring ??? ;)

The ballet L'après-midi d'un faune (or The Afternoon of a Faun) was choreographed by Vaslav Nijinsky for the Ballets Russes, and first performed in the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on May 29, 1912. Nijinsky danced the main part himself.

Lydia Sokolova, the first English dancer in the Ballets Russes, gave the following description of Nijinsky's performance:

Nijinsky as the faun was thrilling. Although his movements were absolutely restrained, they were virile and powerful and the manner in which he caressed and carried the nymph's veil was so animal that one expected to see him run up the side of the hill with it in his mouth. There was an unforgettable moment just before his final amorous descent upon the scarf when he knelt on one leg on top of the hill; with his other leg stretched out behind him. Suddenly he threw back his head, opened his mouth and silently laughed. It was superb acting.

WOW !!!

And so to the world of dreams

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 30. May, 2007 - 02:30:46

Sleep ...........it has been a good day.
A productive day.
A day when things get done.
I've started organising my thoughts a bit- next step will be to tidy my flat which is once again in creative chaos !
the place looks like a tornado has zoomed through ..i.e. me going from one thing to the other.

I took a big piece of paper this morning and did a stock-taking or inventory of my inner and outer worlds

Dreams .................................waking world

What a LOT of dreams I've had in May. I see themes and patterns emerging and I can see how they relate to the other side of the page which is my "waking world"

A John Cleese snippet just flashed through my mind

Nope...that's your lot .. I read it on the back of a matchbox once ...
Ah well . back to the world of dreams .

I used this particular video hundreds of times as part of teaching English as foreigh language.

It's from a Fawlty Towers video called Communication Problems
All about Communication problems
A battleaxe of a woman , Mrs Richards comes to stay - she is deaf , has a hearing aid but will not turn it on. The old bat.
hehehe . there's line there where Basil asks " Is this a piece of your brain ?" hehehe ..I'm gettng silly now ..sleep deprivation ....
Nigh tnight  XXXX

Communication Problems
19 February 1979, BBC2 - Running time 31:26

A troublesome guest causes problems when she refuses to turn her hearing-aid on. Meanwhile Basil frantically tries to hide a win from the races from Sybill.

Mrs. Richards: When I pay for a view I expect to see something more interesting than that.
Basil: That is Torquay, Madam.
Mrs Richards: Well, it's not good enough.
Basil: Well, may I ask what you were hoping to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom-window? Sidney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest? sweeping majestically?
Mrs Richards: Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see the sea.
Basil: You can see the sea. It's over there between the land and the sky.
Mrs Richards: You call that a view?
Basil Fawlty: Well perhaps you should consider moving to a hotel closer to the sea, preferably in it.

Mrs Richards: Now, I've reserved a very quiet room, with a bath and a sea view. I specifically asked for a sea view in my written confirmation, so please be sure I have it.
Manuel: Que?
Mrs. Richards: K?
Manuel: Si.
Mrs. Richards: C?
Manuel: No. Que, "what."
Mrs. Richards: K. Watt?
Manuel: Si: que, "what."
Mrs. Richards: C. K. Watt? Is he the manager?
Manuel: Ah! Manajer! Mr. Fawlty.
Mrs. Richards: This man is telling me the manager is a C. K. Watt, aged forty.
Manuel: No, Fawlty.
Mrs. Richards: Faulty? Why? What's wrong with him?

Mrs Richards: I shall expect a reduction.
Basil: Why? Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?
Mrs Richards: Because the room is cold, the bath is too small, the view is invisible and the radio doesn't work.
Basil: No, the radio works. You don't.
Mrs Richards: What?
Basil: I'll see if I can fix it, you scabby old bat.
[He turns the radio on to the limit.]

Sybil: What was the name of the horse?
Polly: Er ... the name ... I've gone blank.
[she stares at Basil, making bizarre attempts at charades] Bird Brain.
Sybil: Bird Brain?
Polly: No, no, that came in third. ... Fishwife.
Sybil: What?
Polly: Small...fly. Flying ... Flying Tart ... no, no... It got off to a flying start, and its name was ... Dragonfly.
Sybil: Thank you, Polly.

Path of Empowerment

by miramaze @ Tuesday, 29. May, 2007 - 22:34:39

http://www.pleiadians.com/i/path_sm.jpg

I read Barbara Marciniak's "Bringers of the Dawn" when it first came out years ago and re- read it last year when I read it in a completely different light.

I've been reading excerpts from "the Path of Empowerment " and have ordered the book .

From Chapter 1, "Multidimensional Reality and the Design of Existence," Page 5
Understanding the power of beliefs and the power of the mind, both individually and en masse, is the most pressing and crucial issue for humankind to grasp. Recognizing these two important keys of knowledge can open human consciousness to a new worldview of unlimited possibilities and highly creative solutions. Beliefs are essentially agreements about reality, and both personal and collective beliefs form the structure and the parameters of your life experience in any era. Beliefs, thoughts, and feelings leave a distinct formative imprint on the field of vital energy that envelops your world. You are creating all of the time and humankind is rapidly awakening to this astounding realization.

From Chapter 1, "Multidimensional Reality and the Design of Existence," Page 20
When you change your attitude, you change your personal and collective life. People all over the world are realizing the need to refocus the direction of global attention toward one of honesty and integrity, where valuing peace and respectfully honoring and caring for Earth and all her creatures are of primary intent. As the vibration of the mass consciousness expands and matures, greater momentum and focus will be gained. The Earth feels these changes. An elevated state of awareness in the collective consciousness of humankind triggers the Earth to unlock and release more of the complete story of time stored within her being

From Chapter 4, "The Intimate Dance of Beliefs and Emotions," Pages 92-93

Humankind is being tested to become much more consciously aware of how to use the power of thought. You are born with a multitude of abilities, yet your cultivated beliefs insist you are powerless; therefore, these abilities are blocked out or eradicated from neural pathways at an early age. The key to solving the great planetary crisis you face lies in the compassionate recognition that humanity has essentially developed a collective fear of the power to create. These times call for you to know your mind and your beliefs and to become an extraordinary creator of your reality.

From Chapter 4, "The Intimate Dance of Beliefs and Emotions," Page 123

There are always a multitude of favorable probabilities from which to choose. Please be aware of this potential and do not busy yourself with worries. Worry is a supreme waste of energy in any situation. It creates a disturbing vibration in your field and drains you of energy. And how do you avoid worry? You must deal with your beliefs concerning what you choose to worry about. Release your need to be in charge or in control of everything. Replace your worry with a statement that affirms your choice of safety, comfort, and peace of mind. Learn more about yourself by paying attention to how you manage energy. Be aware of what no longer works by recognizing how your inner ruminations become the movie of life that you meet in the outside world.

From Chapter 5, "Healing on the Lines of Time," Page 142

Great significance underlies every illness, large or small, because your body is a biofeedback system for your attitudes. Managing energy involves managing your relationship with your emotional self. Examining your emotions is the bottom line for understanding the purpose of a particular health-related situation. Poor health does not just land in your lap. You are ultimately responsible for setting the stage of your body's inner terrain based on the choices you make, and you actually restrict your body's natural healing processes when you readily accept only conventional medical labels and categories for your condition. You deny the purpose and power of your body's intelligence when you believe that you "just caught something out of the blue," rather than realizing and accepting that your body is merely responding to your inner feelings and commands.
