Rudraksha is a large evergreen broad-leaved tree which grows in the area from the Gangetic Plain to the foothills of great Himalaya and middle area of Nepal.
Rudraksha is also known as The Divine Bead .The Tears of Lord Siva that are Rudraksha, are the original Vedic Beads of Power worn by the Yogis of India and the Himalayas for thousands of years to maintain health and to gain self empowerment and fearless life on their path to Enlightenment and Liberation.

There are 54 beads and I use them like a rosary fro meditation , to repeat a special seed mantra that is repeated 108 times ( 2X54 )

Amma is really the closest I have come to God personified. Amma is radiant. radiates peace and love. She works tirelessly. On the twp occasions that she was in Stockholm she was on stage for hours on end .. all day .. retiring for a few hours in the afternoon and then returning again to receive hug and bless the hundreds of people waiting patientlyin line for one of her hugs and blessings. She did not stop until everyone had been seen. Often around 3 am ,

Now , I'm not a Hindu or Buddhist , Jew, Christian or Sufi or any religion , but I do love bits and pieces from many sources.

The OM and my rudraksha serve me very well .
I am so blessed with these gifts.

Walking towards me, a woman with red hair and purple jacket.
As she walks past our eyes meet and there is this moment of recognition.
She stops , turns around and asks
- Are you in the " Livs Energi " Book club ? ( a new age book club )
- No, I'm English and I prefer to read in English , but there some good books there.
She points to my " Om " pendant

- I thought you'd go that from the book club
- No, a good friend brought me that back from India as I couldn't go.

And so we start talking. She tells me how she is feeling a bit low today , lacking energy and needs a hug , so I give her a hug. She then goes on to tell me about the son she's lost and the mother she nursed until she died ..sighs...

- I'm looking for my life's purpose.
- That's a biggy , says I. Have you considered that you may be living your life purpose right now ? You are already doing it ?
_ but I want to know what it is, What am I supposed to do ?
_ Just go on doing what you like doing, says I . One step after the other .. all will be revealed. One thing leads to another and there you are .. before you know it you have arrived !

She seems content with that.
_ I feel better now , She says.
_ thanks for the chat , I tell her .
_ Perhaps we'll meet again when our paths cross , she says
_ Maybe. I say. Enjoy your day. See you !

And we go on with our day , in opposite directions .

A 62 year old man was told he had only months to live so he spent all his money only to learn later that he had been misdiagnosed.

like travel
spontaneous trips
That's what comes to mind as i reflect
Not in touh with sadness or anger at the moment
oh yes... there's the differences of opinion
when a good friend and I have opposing views
that is a challenge
more and more I am finding that we steer our way through troubled waters
better get a move onnow
I 'm going to be late .....................

Tomorrow is another day
now it's time for meto hit the hay
