Around 2001 James Twyman , trubadour and emissary of peace had the brilliant idea of collecting One million prayers for peace and set up a website www.prayersofpeace. com, POP as it became known to those of us who went there regularly to contribute and clock up numbers of prayers. These posts on " POP " were our heartsongs , poems, expressions of peace and love .We went their daily, Several of us connected and enjoyed email contact. Then POP died . We missed POP terribly so I set up a group on yahoo where few of us still meet.
In 2003 12 of met IRL in New York. The decision to meet was taken the previous year amd became reality in March 2003 just before the war with Iraq broke out. It was a tense and scary time, I remember. My son and his girlfriend were concerned that I was flying to New York at this time. What if the airports are closed and you can't come back ? Bless them both.
I received an email from James Twyman this morning about Common passion, http://www.commonpassion.org/welcome.html - " portal to a world of social harmony"
