Something that Sapphire said yesterday presented itself for contemplation and reflection in my morning meditation.
I don't remember the exact words but it was " IRL - In real life " versus " online " and what is the difference.
My mind starts to spin off at a tangent. And I think back to pen pal days. Now that was considered real. Letters going backwards and forwards often for years without people ever meeting. The exchanges were real.
I could go deeper and ask " what is real and what isn't ? "
WHat is real and what is an illusion.
What is fantasy?
Some people say if it is concrete, and you can touch it and see it , then it is real. But then I heard that a table and a stone are not solid , but they
are in fact atoms and molecules with spaces inbetween . Spaces . And spaces mean that the thing cannot be solid.
When you think about something intensely and in glorious technicolour if FEELS real. In your mind you can transport yourself backwards in time to scenarious and events that happened and re- live them and they certainly feel real and real enough evoke symptoms in your body such as tears of joy or tears of pain, cramping or great feelings of elation as chemicals are released by your brain into the body. Amazing.
For me cyber meetings are often as real and sometimes more real than " real life" meetings. Connections are made, connections that I call Soul connections which sometimes also lead to soul meetings. I have met my cyber onl ine friends in real life and they tend to turn out exactly as they have appeared on line.
I marvel at our ability to connect through the world wide web thanks to the internet. The internet does seem to be the manmade( human made ) equivalent to the collective unconscious, The World Soul.
I am so grateful for our inter- connectedness and our intra- connectedness. This on line experience has brought me closer to the experience of ONE NESS for which I am so grateful . Awesome. Totally Awesome. How about you ?
