Sunday morning thoughts and ramblings

by miramaze @ Sunday, 03. Jun, 2007 - 12:04:51

Woke up with the feelings and impressions of last night's dream still fresh and annoying. It's amazing how dreaming something can reall stir things up. I've spent the past hour examining thoughts arising ; exploring and shedding light, viewing from all different angles and the feeling is dissipating. Enquiry works when you dare take the bull by the horns.

It's a lovely sunny day and I want to spend more time on the balcony really doing nothing.

The Prof is coming around at 6 and he's bringing his new girlfriend. This relationship is only a couple of months old. Last year he brought Sara , a lovely girl. I thought she löoked like a ballet dancer ,from an eastern european country, a gazelle, charming and swet as a humming bird. So what will JOhanna be like ? Could this be THE ONE ? I don't like to ask myself that question but it pops up. COuld this be the mother of my grandchildren ? Let's wait and see :)
Bless them both .

Home again

I got home over an hour ago but could not go to sleep before I'd seen her -- the moon , that is.First glimpse at 1:34 am and now she is a huge orange ball in the dark blue sky . Glorious. It's such a pity that my camera cannot do lady moon justice.

Lovely dinner at Lena's in her new flat. Two rooms kitchen bathroom and balcony , spacious, airy, recently renovated, excellent communicatjons into town.

This was a special dinner devoted to comforting and being there for a good friend of Lena's , Suzanne , whose husband of 27 years had passed on after stroke and cancer on 10 May.'

It was the first time I'd met Susanne a warm, sensitive creative woman. we decided to sit in meditation for a while before dinner as Martin's presence was strong. Both Lena and I felt him and received the same messages which seemed to be of some comfort to Suzanne.

Then delicious seafood pasta and salad that Lena had made , a couple of bottles of wine, strawberries and ice cream for dessert.

Susanne cried a lot but also laughed heartily at one point .. which I think is a good thing. Grieving, mourning and finding the courage to go on living is not easy when your best friend has passed on.

It felt gpod to be there. A lovely evening despite the circumstances .

And so to bed .. night night , sweet dreams X
