Financial blessing prayer from a friend
I received this today from a friend and felt I had to share it with you all here in Blogland .![]()
Dear Mishpocha- You got 30 seconds? OK, maybe 90 seconds. Here's a financial blessing, a simple prayer. OK, maybe not so simple a prayer - it's me, here, isn't it. This is a little different from the one originally sent to me. A little closer to my own heart for the people I'm passing it on to. Plugging into the Universe is always a powerful and rewarding experience - financial or not. For those of us, or those we know, in what used to be called "straightened" circumstances - known or unknown - I offer this.
Source Of All Life, I pray that You abundantly bless my family and me. I know that You know that a family is more than just a group of people related by blood or marriage. We're talking mishpocha, here, SOAL, a group of people united through belief and action. The ones that roll up their sleeves and pitch in. The ones whose arms and lives are never so full that you can't be fitted in for comfort and support.
That said, Author of the Universe, I send up a prayer requesting a financial blessing not only for the members of my mishpocha who sent a prayer to me, but also for me and other mishpocha to whom I have forwarded this.
Architect of Creation, we praise Your great and holy name, may You be blessed eternally. We number those blessings you have bestowed on us for health and happiness and waking to each new day, each new possibility. Breather of Life, deliver the person reading this from the burdens of financial hardship. Grant that they may stand a little straighter, a little stronger, for themselves and their families. Grant wisdom for good stewardship over all You give into our keeping. Grant us abundance that we may honour You through our tzedakkah (charity) towards others.
Grant us ample stores for the remainder of our journey and Your purpose. Amen
OK. Now, take a minute to consider who you'd like to pass this to. Do it, or don't do it, but at least think about those you know who may be in need. If prayer - especially this kind of prayer - is not your response, find one that fits you and DO IT! God, according to R. Nachman of Breslov, never creates the same thing twice. Reach out to build abundance through your unique gifts. Remember, without the action the kavannah (intention) is worthless.
And may we all enjoy the blessings of Shalom/Peace....
P.s. I'm not quite sure what mispocha is .. is it family ? .. anyway it sounds nice , doesn't it ?
Finding your Joy ( Daily OM )
Finding Your Joy Be Happy Every Single Day
Our lives are rich with potential sources of happiness, but sometimes we become victims of negative thinking because we believe that focusing on all that has gone wrong will provide us with the motivation we need to face the challenges of survival. When we choose to focus on what makes us happy, however, a shift occurs in the fabric of our existence. Finding something to be happy about every single day can help this shift take place. The vantage points from which we view the world are brought into balance, and we can see that being alive truly is a gift to be savoured. There is always something we can be happy about—it is simply up to us to identify it.
On one day, we may find happiness in a momentous, life-changing event such as a marriage or the birth of a child. On another day, the happiness we experience may be a product of our appreciation of a particularly well-brewed cup of a tea or the way the sun shines on a leaf. If we discover that we literally cannot call to mind a single joyful element of existence, we should examine the cause of the blockage standing between us and experiencing happiness. Keeping a happiness journal is a wonderful way to catalogue the happiness unfolding all around us so that joy has myriad opportunities to manifest itself in our lives. Writing about the emotions we experience while contemplating joy may give us insight into the factors compelling us to resist it.
Happiness may not always come easily into your life. You have likely been conditioned to believe that the proper response to unmet expectations is one of sadness, anger, guilt, or fear. To make joy a fixture in your existence, you must first accept that it is within your power to choose happiness over unhappiness every single day. Then, each time you discover some new source of happiness, the notion that the world is a happy place will find its way more deeply into your heart. On this day, find one thing to be happy about and let it fill your heart

Good afternoon
Woke up feeling joyful after a nice 8 hours of sleep.
Ingrida called - back from the US of A and a whole month in Texas. Arranged to meet for lunch in a couple of weeks.
Anna-Stina is coming round tonight.
E mail from Daz in NZ also contributed to my happy state. He's found digs with 3 lesbians and a 4th flat mate on the way . Has bought himself a motorbike and leather suit to protect from rain and wind. Reminded him of Marianne Faithful in the film " Girl on a motorbike " classic of the 70s .
" The SHIFT " is very much on my mind after watching the videos and exloring www.firethegrid. com website last night. It all resonates with me .JOY ,PEACE , LOVE to us all.
Ordinarily, everything we do is in our sel- interest ( Guru)

self-interest. Everything."

"Remember, most of the things you think you need
are ego trips designed to bolster your image and
your perception of security.... You'll waste a
lot of energy satisfying your ego only to find
that, as soon as it's got what it wants, it ignores
all your efforts and promptly nails another list
of demands to your forehead. The ego will always
try to force you to slave for its vision. I
wouldn't stand for that BS if I were you."
-- Stuart Wilde
"We have no need to teach pure motives to the
mind. All that is necessary to make the mind pure is
to undo the negative conditioning to which it
has been subjected; then we will be left with pure,
unconditioned awareness."

Fire the grid
Shelley Yates and her young son were both killed in an auto accident. The story is riveting. While she was "on the other side" the Beings of Light told her how to bring her son back to life and that our planet is dying and what she could do to help jumpstart its healing by using the same approach they instructed her to do with her son who was restored to life.

Stockholm sunset
After a day of rain , a lovely clear and warm evening.
Mikael came round and took me out to dinner - Thai buffet with various dishes , veggie spring rolls , salads and even calamari rings. Yum.
Afterwards we took the scenic way home and stopped at Fjällgatan to admire the view - sunset and hot air balloons .. the little dots you can see in the pic ![]()
