Work is love made visible

by miramaze @ Thursday, 05. Jul, 2007 - 23:37:20

Real success is achieved when you like what you do.
No one can succeed in any endeavour that they don't like.
If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.

Your chances of success are directly proportional
to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

Do something that you have a deep personalinterest in.( eg blogging ? )

Do something you'd enjoy spending twelve to fifteen hours a day
working at, and the rest of the time thinking about.( blogging , lseeping , eating , talking to people .... )

Don't set compensation as your goal.Find work you like and the compensation will follow.

Work is not your punishment. It's your reward, your strength and your pleasure.

When your vocation becomes your vacation, you'll never work another day in your life.

WHY ?

by miramaze @ Thursday, 05. Jul, 2007 - 20:08:15

Yesterday I read Sankara's wise ramblings about WHY and today read Meno's post about self- doubt. Today I found this in my reading:

" When you expand your thinking and question why , you alter the course of your reality; when you seek to enlighten and enliven your mind , a myriad of connections with layers of subtle meaning will begin to unfold in your life."

From : Path of Empowerment by Barbara Marciniak.

lost in translation

by miramaze @ Thursday, 05. Jul, 2007 - 14:35:23

I do not like doing translations.I'm not good at it . People still ask , often when desperate , and it's hard to say no.

C.V.'s are especially tricky. Titles , job descriptions ..............arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Eva called. She's fed up with her present job and a new opportunity had arisen. but her Swedish C.V. had to be in English, cos a Germany chappy had to look at it.

Both Eva and hubby Sven have been so good to me. Sven does my tax returns every year without fail , bless him. So you can see my dilema.

Anyway , sorted it by asking 2 friends and both responded immediately . Angel Agency is at work yet again.

A couple of phone calls and all done. Thank you thank you thank you .
I am grateful :)

My little babies .... grown from seed in a soil in a big bin bag on the balcony. One of the poppies is a double one :) I like the way they first bow there heads and then stand up straight to bloom. The petals close at night- the marigolds do too when it is about to rain .

What was I thinking ?

by miramaze @ Thursday, 05. Jul, 2007 - 01:47:39

What was I thinking ? lol logged off without a goodnight blog,a pause to reflect .....logged off without so much as a " by your leave " tut tut.

*yawn* have been looking you alkaline and acidic foods tables . apparently the average diet is far too acid and disease thrives in acidity.

The tables don't seem to be able to agree which foods are acidic and which are alkaline. Most confusing. To be on the safe side , stick to fruits and veggies. We are suppose to aim at a 75% alkaline 25% acidic diet.

" Drink distilled water " WHO the heck drinks that ??? I always thought that distilled water was only to be found in laboratories and used in scientific experiments . I've not seen any readily available in the shops - not even health food shops. Anyway .. to drink only distilled water must cost a small fortune . Blimey. It's a sad state of affairs when our tap water is no longer good enough.

Blessing water must work just as well, I'd have thought. See the work of Dr Massaru Emoto

Prayer of thanks to water

"Water, We Love You."
"Water, We Thank You."
"Water, We Respect You."

Then, just visualize for a few minutes that all the water on Earth is filled with beautiful golden/silver light of Love and Thanks that is flowing from the hearts of each and every one of us.

Ok , now I can go to bed :)
Love and peace in all your dimensions  night night x
