Awwww they shouldn't have gone to so much trouble
I've only gone 4 days.
Actually was Sundbyberg's annual street party tonight and I just caught the finale through my kitchen window.
So, what's been happening in Blogland in my absence ?
I can see 100 + messages so it will take me a while to catch up.
Anyway , I'm " unpacking 4 bright and sunny fabulous days in Paris. So lucky with the weather and everything else .
DRAMA on arrival at Charles De Gaule Airport !!
We're all waiting to cliamn our luggage and ofr half an hour or so we here " Would Madame Simon please collect her luggage ..."
Well Madame Simon obviously didn't and the next thing we know , security guards prevent me and others from leaving. We are cordonned off just metres from the exit. Lifts are locked while men in suits with walkie talkies strut around organising things.
This goes on for 40 minutes or so after which we hear a loud BOOM !
Turns out that the afore mentioned suitcase has been blown up ! We are free to go. I pass the remains on my way out and asked the guard if it was a bomb." Oh no , he replies , if it had been , we'd all have been blown up ",
I can't see the logic in ´blowing up a suspected bomb.
Later someone explains to me that they were probably IMPLODING and this rendering it harmless ???
Well well .. it all made for an exciting arrival.

Feeling dreamy.
Abstract mood.
Hard to write when I feel like this.
Was in town earlier .. typical Saturday .. tons of people enjpying shopping i.e. retail therapy ,
Centre of town has changed. I haven't been for a while .. and it's all changed. Debenhams is gone . PUB ( a department store ) is being given a makeover and will be just fashion . So many clothes shops in the centre . clothes and shoes . That's it . All tacky too.
I was looking for nice tea- towels and cloth napkins, as part of small pressie for Lina . You'd think that would be easy enough Oh no
There are some ghastly patterns around
Finally found some terracotta red linen napkins that I thought would go well in Lina's new yellow kitchen. Hope she likes them.
Also bought her some loose Earl Grey Green tea from special tea shop.Maybe I'll make her some gingernut biscuits to go with the tea.
Have started to pack and of course going round in circles. What to wear ? It has been raining a lot in Paris and colder than here. Layers is the answer, I think.
I've also bought some wonderful lavender bubble bath . I don't have a bath tub at home , but there will be a bath in my hotel
and at Lina's HUrrrraaaaaay ! I love staying at hotels when I have a room with a bath . I shall be bathing 3 times a day .
-morning soak to wake up
- afternoon soak before nap
- evening soak before bed
fantastico !! It will be luverly ![]()

Just a few words before bed. Haven't seen the moon for weeks . Where the heck is she ? It's not that cloudy. I've looked and looked :8
My pedometre ( sp?) the little gadget that is supposed to count your steps cheats . It does not register every step I take.
8972 steps today ...that's it .. and I've walked and walked. Not fair. I've just paced around the room- 30 paces and it's not registered 30 .. it's much less. Maybe you need to walk with a bounce and take huge strides. 8991. I'm going to call that at least 10,000.

Not this particular fly in the picture , but the one that was around last night. Cheeky little fecker kept landing on me while I was typing . Would not leave me alone. So insistant.
It was there even when I went to bed.
Followed me into my bedroom.
Followed me into the bathroom when I got up in the middle of the night.
Getting back to sleep was difficult and almost impossible as the damn thing kept landing on my face, arm, nose ...a most insistant fly it was.
In the end I got up and opened the balcony door and by this time it was already light so it must have found it's way out , because it is gone now

@ Friday, 24. Aug, 2007 – 11:37:40
Feeling restless to day .
Have a long list of things to do when I would rather BE .. simply BE.
Butterflies in my stomach.
Well .. I get like this before a trip .
Just two days now.
I've found my passport
good thing.
Also some eauros from last trip abroad.
Must go to the library to print out electronic ticket , though someone told me all you need is the booking code ,Is that true ?
Anyway , I'll feel better with paper ticket in my hand.
Flight is a morning flight. Don't know if local transport will get me there in time. Maybe I need to book a taxi to where the airport bus stops.
Lovely sunny day.
Wonder what the weather will be like in Paris?
Maarja , who was there last week said it was colder than Stockholm.
Layers. The solution to everything. Don't want to take too much. Will pack tonight.
All for now.
Happy Friday everyone

Fleet of one hundred UFOs hovers above Sacramento
(USA)
http://alcuinbramerton.blogspot.com/2007/07/fleet-of-one-hundred-ufos-hovers-above.html
On Sunday 22nd July 2007, in broad daylight at
1.58pm Pacific Daylight Time, a fleet of one
hundred UFOs was observed to be hovering at an altitude
of two thousand feet above Roseville,
Sacramento, California (USA). The fleet was in an ordered
formation of two lines. They were close enough to
the ground to be seen reflecting the sunlight.
The initial report came from Dr Richard Boylan and
Army Sergeant Justin Johnson. It was posted on
several reliable alternative news sites around the
web - for example here and here. Why isn't this
100-craft sighting being reported by the local
Californian media? It would seem to be the most
important UFO manifestation in America since the
Phoenix lights in 1997.
UFO Sightings Bring Town of Stratford, England to
a Standstillhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=470579&in_page_id=1770
www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=470579&in_page_id=1770
A crowd of 100 stunned stargazers brought a town
centre to a standstill when five mysterious UFOs
were spotted hovering in the sky. Drinkers
spilled out of pubs, motorists stopped to gawp and
camera phones were aimed upwards as the five orbs, in
a seeming formation, hovered above
Stratford-Upon-Avon for half an hour. The unidentified flying
objects lit up the otherwise clear night sky
above Shakespeare's birthplace in Warwickshire on
Saturday. Hillary Potter from The British Earth
Aerial Mystery Society (BEAMS) said they were being
inundated with similar calls from across the
country but said it was rare for such phenomena to be
witnessed by so many people. She said: "Such
incidents have been on the increase recently. There
are reports at the moment coming in from all over
the country. "We've had many reports of people
seeing quite large unidentified objects in the
skies. It's not going away, It seems these incidents
are becoming more bold. "People don't know what
to do when they witness such sights and that's
what we're here for. We take the reports very
seriously."
So.. anyone in BLogland seen them ?
Moi ?Not seen them .. but.... I've felt them

The Prof and I loved this book
" Where the Wild Things Are " by Maurice Sendak
Aren't the illustrations fabulous ?
The Story
However, after more the 40 years, what keeps Where the Wild Things Are popular is not the impact of the book on the field of children's literature, it is the impact of the story and the illustrations on young readers. The plot of the book is based on the fantasy (and real) consequences of a little boy's mischief. One night Max dresses up in his wolf suit and does all kinds of things he shouldn't, like chasing the dog with a fork. His mother scolds him and calls him a "WILD THING!" Max is so mad he shouts back, "I'LL EAT YOU UP!" As a result, his mother sends him to his bedroom without any supper.
Max's imagination transforms his bedroom into an extraordinary setting, with a forest and an ocean and a little boat that Max sails in until he comes to a land full of "wild things." Although they look and sound very fierce, Max is able to tame them with a single glance. They all realize Max is "..the most wild thing of all" and make him their king. Max and the wild things have a fine time creating a rumpus until Max begins to want to be "…where someone loved him best of all." Max's fantasy ends when he smells his dinner. Despite the wild things' protests, Max sails back to his own room where he finds his supper waiting for him.

Saw H. the shrink today.I told him about how I'd expertienced the summer - 2½ months since our last visit and we did some dreamwork. He thinks I am going into a creative phase and starting to leave the old dreams behind. He liked that I was clearing clutter .. got a few brownie points there lol
Also learned that train dreams can signify a one - track mind ; set ways, habits , being restricted to one route,

"What you bring forth out of yourself from the
inside will save you. What you do not bring forth
out of yourself from the inside will destroy you."
-- Gospel of Thomas
We can transform painful memories by re-imagining them from the soul’s perspective of love and meaning.
Andrew Schneider says that all experiences have the purpose of serving the soul. An experience in the past blocked us because our fear at the time distorted our perception of what happened. To transform this limiting experience, we must bring what was then unconscious into the soul’s realm through consciousness.
We can do this by following these steps:
1. RECALL the past experience that might inhibit us.
2. OWN the experience (no judgment, blame, etc.).
3. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for it and the consequences (i.e., the experience was determined by my subjective perception of what occurred, dictated by my lack of wholeness -- specifically my fears).
4. GIVE IT MEANING (the soul was attempting to gain some kind of mastery or skill, but we didn’t know that at the time).
5. RE-IMAGINE it from the perspective of soul consciousness (showing its higher purpose).
"Letting go of our suffering is the hardest work
we will ever do. It is also the most fruitful. To
heal means to meet ourselves in a new way -- in
the newness of each moment where all is possible
and nothing is limited to the old."
-- Stephen Levine

Thought provoking piece from Abe
Stop meddling
"We would far rather you selfishly intend for something to happen to you like winning the lottery than that you meddle in the lives of humanity by wishing peace on those who don't want it. (Laughter from audience.)
In other words, you get to choose whatever it is you are wanting and you get to achieve vibrational harmony with it, and when you do that the Universe will deliver it to you. In fact, that's your only work. Your only work is to line up the energy within you.
Now peace on earth, that is a sort of meddling, stepping on the creative toes of a lot of people. In other words, that's going beyond the boundaries of lining up the energy within you.... Because it's not any of your business what anybody else does with their thoughts. It's only your business what you do with your thoughts.
Choose what feels good to you and leave everybody else to choose what they want. Don't spend any time saying,
"They should choose differently and they'd feel better." Instead say,
"They're choosing whatever they're choosing; I'm choosing what I'm choosing, and I'm feeling good while I'm choosing it."
And let that be the end of it. Be certain that you are connected to your Source Energy, and let everybody else figure it out for themselves. Some of them will adore you, some of them will hate you — and none of it has anything to do with you."

that ordinary playing cards can be used in divination , I have alwys know, What I have not known is the mathematics behind a deck of cards that makes it similar to a calendar
From a book called " The cards of destiny " and www.thedailyom.com
It is believed by many that the card deck was our first calendar as there are many similarities between them. There are 52 cards in a deck and 52 weeks in a year. There are 4 suits and 4 seasons, there are 12 court cards and 12 months and there are 13 cards in a suit and 13 lunar cycles in a year. This book is divided into 2 sections, The Cards and a Daily Divination Guide. The Cards section contains birth card descriptions for each of the 53 cards (52 cards and the joker) as they relate to the 365 days of the year and our birthdays. For instance, if you were born on January 1st, then you are a King of Spades and a full explanation is given. The Daily Divination Guide is a year long reference that gives you practical information for each of the 365 days in the year. This book has illustrations of antique cards throughout and is a lovely book to own.
Excerpt:
The information on these pages is simply a glance into an exact and comprehensive body of ancient wisdom that was kept secret for many thousands of years. The mystic science of the cards, as I call it, is based on our regular deck of playing cards, astrology, and numerology. It appears that this deck of cards was originally an ancient book used for timekeeping and divination. Interestingly, the card deck aligns perfectly with our yearly calendar, so this theory is well supported, as you'll see later in this introduction.
Hearts
Hearts represent the springtime of life. They stand for art and beauty, feelings and emotions, youth and children, people and relationships, love and marriage. This is the element of fire tamed by compassion. Hearts symbolize home, family, and all things that touch us and cause us to feel. The awakened heart embodies love and compassion, understanding and kindness. The unconscious heart can become lost in lust, drama, anger, and self-absorption. People who have heart birthdays love to engage with others in their living and learning and do well with groups. Hearts relate to springtime and the emergence of new life. They are artistic, sensuous, and sensitive by nature, so give your heart friends gifts that are lovely to look at, are soft to the touch, or have a beautiful sound or a wonderful fragrance.
Clubs
Clubs rule the mental realm and all things having to do with communication, learning, teaching, research, critical thinking, and the processing of ideas. In the journey through life, clubs rule our time of education and mental development. The awakened club is a messenger of intelligence and information, creativity, and the assimilation of art, science, and spirituality. People with club birthdays like to gather information and share it with others in their own unique and individual ways. They use their intelligence to guide them, and thoughts are tangible and substantial things for them. When this energy is unconscious, clubs can waste time spinning their mental wheels to the point of psychological chaos and confusion. Clubs are associated with the element of air and represent summer, the time of growth, and our time of learning. Give your club friends a book or something they can learn from in some way, and support all of their artistic endeavors.
Diamonds
Diamonds symbolize autumn and the harvesting phase of life. They stand for spiritual and material values and are associated with the element of water, which represents abundance. Diamonds bring things into physical form through the manifestation of ideas. The enlightened diamond teaches by living higher values as an example, giving through their generosity, and empowering others to be abundant. The unconscious expression of this suit results in selfish, miserly behaviors that can lead to greed. Drawing on the emotional wisdom of the hearts and the mental development of the clubs, diamonds contribute through their actions and ability to make things happen. They embody an innate savvy for business and are also here to learn about money and values. Buy your diamond friends something that sparkles or has value in some way.
Spades
The final suit of the deck, spades synthesize the energies of the hearts, clubs, and diamonds in order to bring forth wisdom through all endeavors. They’re associated with winter and the time of turning within, preparing for rebirth. Corresponding to the element of earth, they stand strong like mountains. The enlightened spade holds the wisdom of the ages (even as babies) so the other suits can see their reflections. Being of the earth, spades can take hard work or struggle in stride. These are the old souls of the deck and they are hardworking, diligent, and mostly disciplined. Buy your spade friends something useful and practical.

I see mum pack her little suitcase and go off to stay with Prof's dad in Venezuela. I feel that she gets on well with everyone there. Noone seems surprised or thinks it is out of the ordinary. She returns home happy and refreshed with tales to tell.
This can only happen in the world of dreams.
Found some old " story Teller " cassettes that the Prof had. Added them to the bag that is going to the charity shop. Someone might like them. When I have grandchildren I will TELL them stories in person. I would not want then to listen to some Dysney Version. The Prof loved the stories I told. I used to make them us as I went along and include him amd One Eared Teddy in the story and wait for him to giggle as he heard himself included. lol
As well as simplifying things , I'm noticing a horror of things that I consider to be " plastic fantastic " and synthetic. Call me old- fashioned but it is natural fabrics and materials for me.
I still have lots of Liberty print fabric waiting to be made up into dresses or skirts. I have a lot of scraps too and one day they will be made into a quilt . ( hahaha ) I can dream can't I ? It is something that I would love to pass on to the Prof.

While I was staying with Daz , he covered me with the quilt his mum had made for him - I thought it was a tender gesture and got all teary eyed. " She made one for me and my brother " he said , Awwwwww.

No not that I have creepie crawlies apart from the odd carpet beetle that likes to chew holes in my knickers
)
No .. Myrorna is the most amazing chain of charity shops run by the Salvation Army. I am donating " junk" and they are going to pick it up on 4 September between 07:00 and 14:00. Amazing. I am so grateful . Not only do I get rid of clutter , but they also come to pick it up !!
Fabulous.
Also gives me time to get stuff together.

Luck is the time when preparation and opportunity meet.
When you're prepared, your chance for success will come.
You can change chance into good fortune if you're ready.
By the law of periodical repetition,
everything which has happened once
must happen again and again and again.
Not capriciously, but at regular periods,
and each thing in it's own period,
and each obeying it's own law.
There is a tide in your affairs,
when taken at the flood,
that will lead you on to fortune.
As events tend to repeat themselves,
the tide of opportunity will come to you.
The only sure thing about luck is that it will changer.

WORKING TOGETHER
We shape our self
to fit this world
and by the world
are shaped again.
The visible
and the invisible
working together
in common cause,
to produce
the miraculous.
I am thinking of the way
the intangible air
passed at speed
round a shaped wing
easily
holds our weight.
So may we, in this life
trust
to those elements
we have yet to see
or imagine,
and look for the true
shape of our own self
by forming it well
to the great
intangibles about us.

Found a book´te other day , " Stories from the Amber Coast " given to me by a friend , 1996 and amongst other things they've written in big letters " NEVER FORGET YOUR ROOTS ".
What is it about ROOTS? What's the fuss about ? Are roots important? Is it important to remember your roots?
To be honest this phrase annoys me.
Why should I ? I want to scream out in protest. I am MORE than my roots. My roots have helped create me and helped me grow , helped me become who I am today , true.
There's a lot about roots that I don't like.
I don't like the idea of being fixed in one place. Rooted .I am to be rooted , then let me be rooted in the INFINATE, not in soil or background , or geneology, or family patterns.
People wax on lyrically about roots. I don't get it . What is it about roots ?
Saw that the pot of marigolds on the balcony was covered with black creepy crawlies . Cut them all off and sprayed it with lavender water and covered the soil and stubs with slices of garlic .
I don't know what made me do all that . The witch in me . Funny .![]()

Concerning the Atoms of the Soul
Someone explained once how the pieces of what we are
fall downwards at the same rate
as the Universe.
The atoms of us, falling towards the centre
of whatever everything is. And we don't see it.
We only sense their slight drag in the lifting hand.
That's what weight is, that communal process of falling.
Furthermore, these atoms carry hooks, like burrs,
hooks catching like hooks, like clinging to like,
that's what keeps us from becoming something else,
and why in early love, we sometimes
feel the tug of the heart snagging on another's heart.
Only the atoms of the soul are perfect spheres
with no means of holding on to the world
or perhaps no need for holding on,
and so they fall through our lives catching
against nothing, like perfect rain,
and in the end, he wrote, mix in that common well of light
at the centre of whatever the suspected
centre is, or might have been.

Below me is a day nursery and on a hot summer's day if I lean over my balcony or my window , I see their pool full of water babies.
I felt a bit strange taking this picture .. what if someone sees me ?

"All major mystical traditions have recognized that there is a paradox at the heart of the journey of return to Origin. ...Put simply, this is that we are already what we seek, and that what we are looking for on the Path with such an intensity of striving and passion and discipline is already within and around us at all moments.
The journey and all its different ordeals are all emanations of the One Spirit that is manifesting everything in all dimensions; every rung of the ladder we climb toward final awareness is made of the divine stuff of awareness itself; Divine Consciousness is at once creating and manifesting all things and acting in and as all things in various states of self-disguise throughout all the different levels and dimensions of the universe."

The world does not need words. It articulates itself
in sunlight, leaves, and shadows. The stones on the path
are no less real for lying uncatalogued and uncounted.
The fluent leaves speak only the dialect of pure being.
The kiss is still fully itself though no words were spoken.
And one word transforms it into something less or other --
illicit, chaste, perfunctory, conjugal, covert.
Even calling it a kiss betrays the fluster of hands
glancing the skin or gripping a shoulder, the slow
arching of neck or knee, the silent touching of tongues.
Yet the stones remain less real to those who cannot
name them, or read the mute syllables graven in silica.
To see a red stone is less than seeing it as jasper --
metamorphic quartz, cousin to the flint the Kiowa
carved as arrowheads. To name is to know and remember.
The sunlight needs no praise piercing the rainclouds,
painting the rocks and leaves with light, then dissolving
each lucent droplet back into the clouds that engendered it.
The daylight needs no praise, and so we praise it always --
greater than ourselves and all the airy words we summon.

A higher perspective on time from www.thedailyguru.com
"Be mindful of how you approach time. Watching the clock is not the same as watching the sun rise."
-- Sophia Bedford-Pierce

What would your soul consider a waste of time?
To a soul, the only real time is right NOW. Not the future or the past. It lives in connecting deeply with the rich experience of each moment. Through awareness
we can be in touch with our authentic self and how it perceives all of the energies and guidance around and within us.
"Chronos is clocks, deadlines, watches, calendars, agendas, planners, schedules, beepers. Chronos is time at her worst. Chronos keeps track. ...Chronos is the
world's time. Kairos is transcendence, infinity, reverence, joy, passion, love, the Sacred. Kairos is intimacy with the Real. Kairos is time at her best.
...Kairos is Spirit's time. We exist in chronos. We long for kairos. That's our duality. Chronos requires speed so that it won't be wasted. Kairos requires space so that it might be savored. We do in chronos. In kairos we're allowed to
be ... It takes only a moment to cross over from chronos into kairos, but it does take a moment. All that kairos asks is our willingness to stop running long enough to hear the music of the spheres."
-- Sarah Ban Breathnach

Spent about an hour doing this on line market survey about food and cooking. I do this from time to time and donate the payment to charity.
This one was different, interesting but complicated. It involved making picture postcards to do with food. You had to compose pictures incorporating moods ,background colours and food and situations. There was bits of writing too and filling in of an on line food diary .
It occured to me that this was some company's way of getting ideas and inspiration to advertise their products - a form of cheap labour.

mira maze ...A very special Gemini
( it says that for all the signs )
mira maze is as bright as a button and as sharp as a blade. If there's ever anything you need to know, mira maze is the person to ask.
Chances are she will know the answer already. If not she will go and ask someone else and she will keep asking until she gets an answer. mira maze simply cannot stand the idea of a question that has no answer, so if she cannot get a satisfactory explanation she will invent one. A good one.
She is after all as bright as a button. There are though, some questions in life which are best left unanswered. The rest of us know to leave them alone. mira cannot resist the urge to explore them. She is drawn to such questions, like, well, like a button to a button hole! mira answers these questions cleverly because, after all as sharp as a blade, but then you know what they say about people who are too sharp...
mira can be very cutting sometimes. She doesn't mean to be. She just can't help it. mira can't stop herself from daring to say what other people hardly dare to think. This is why mira often gets himself into trouble but it is also why mira is such an interesting person to know. Life with mira maze is never dull. There's always an adventure, a challenge or a deal to be done. mira loves to do deals. The word 'no' is not in her vocabulary. When she hears it mira is immediately tempted to reply "Is that 'no' as in 'maybe', 'no' as in 'I need to be persuaded,' or 'no as in 'not quite yet?' Luckily mira gets clean away with this kind of attitude. mira maze, at least when it comes to the unanswerable question, is living proof of the old adage "Who dares...wins".

Today's Outlook for

Yesterday | TODAY | Tomorrow
The Moon's entry into moody Cancer at 1:36 am EDT would normally quiet our world as it pulls us into a more emotional frame of mind, but today the fiery energy rages strong.
Four planets in Leo are harmonizing with two planets in Sagittarius warming our hearts, even as Venus backs into serious Saturn over the next few days.
Still, it's hard to hide our enthusiasm and excitement as talkative Mercury forms a happy-go-lucky trine with buoyant Jupiter.

Thrill Of The Moment
Gemini Daily Horoscope
You might receive unexpected news today, which could leave you feeling thrilled. It may simply be the element of surprise or the fact that there is something that you have always wanted to happen that has come true for you that is causing your excitement. While it can be easy to think more deeply about what has happened or even to worry about what this may mean for the future, you may find that letting go of any desired outcome can make your news much more meaningful for you today. As you allow your surprise to wash over you, try to release anything negative that may come to your mind. Reveling in the feeling that you have without thinking too much about or analyzing it could allow you to truly experience the joy of the moment.
We are able to truly relish the positive things that happen in our lives when we place our awareness in the present. Receiving good news makes it easier for us to really remain with our feelings for exhilaration usually puts us squarely in the moment. This feeling of elation, however, is usually short-lived. (
) Rather than holding onto it, though, it is much better if we simply go with the flow, letting all of the things that we are meant to experience and feel simply happen. By being one with your feelings and releasing your expectations of a particular outcome, you will more fully delight in the blessings you have been given today.
I've underlined the important bits

THROUGH THE GATEWAY
Eva Pierrakos
Through the gateway of feeling your weakness lies your strength.
Through the gateway of feeling your pain lies your pleasure and joy.
Through the gateway of feeling your fear lies your security and safety.
Through the gateway of feeling your loneliness lies your capacity to have fulfillment, love and companionship.
Through the gateway of feeling your hopelessness lies true and justified hope. Through the gateway of accepting the lacks in your childhood lies your fulfillment now.

Noticed the dark clouds as I left home. It's a good thing I brought my brolly. The sky opens lightning flashes and rain falls in torrents. An hour or so later bright sunshine , so we sit outside drink tea and eat gorgeous crusty bread, cheese and marmalade
Neighbour's cat passes by as if to check up on us
In the evening we move round to the front of the house for dinner.
Must read Scott Peck's " A road less travelled " again.
Lena brought with her " THe Power of Coincidences " by David Richo. I picked it up and it fell open at this quote :
" Man does not change at death into his immortal part, but is mortal and imortal even in life being both ego and Self "
-- Carl Jung.
I always love being out at Gunilla's house. The energies there are special and everything is so green and lush.

I'm definately going to get an early night.
I'm feeling strange. A little melancholic.
Overwhelmed , I think, drowning in mess and clutter.
I know I'll feel better when my home is clean and tidy again BUT right now I can't be bothered to do it .. I have to work up to it.
Did the laundry and the shopping today.
that's something .
It's a lovely balmy evening again, that is something at least,
Where is the moon ???
We are having our GJLM meeting at Gunilla's tomorrow so I have to be out of here by 11am and I intend to do an hour of tidying before I leave
That's it for now ![]()

A warm balmy evening.Dark outside now , but there is still warmth in the air.I can smell the soil .. it's almost like being in Greece .. without the crickets chirping away. I can't remember, come to think of it , if they stop chirping at night, During the day their concert is streophonic surround sound is deafening,
It's been a wonderful hot and sunny day. So much beauty. A treat for the senses.
It's a shame misunderstandings arise. I don't like to see my friends upset. Angels to the rescue pleae
While we sleep, please see to it that there is peace and harmony in all our dimensions.
Tomorrow is another day. Each moment is a fresh moment .. full of hope and promise and potential.

Escaped at lunchtime to Stadshuset. Only a short tube ride away. Picked up a prawn salad panini on the way and made myself comfortable on a bench in front of Stadshuset. A bench with a view might add. Watched the Japanese tourists taking pictures of each other taking pictures
( why do they do that ?) Could have taken a picture of them taking pictures of eachother
while munching away at my panini. No .. not a good idea. Eating a prawn saland panini requires concentration. Stuff squishes out all over the place. Included in the panini was a wedge of lemon. Good job I noticed. Not very nice biting into a lemon rind and all mixed in with the filling
So , my legs all white from the winter have seen the sun today. It was GORGEOUS. I am a happy camper today. Well pleased . Grateful . Appreciative. NO complaints whatsoever .. for now ![]()

Last sequence of my dream last night. a little bear cub like the one above in a shallow pit in the ground looking up at me.
In a previous sequence I'm waiting in a queue to see a doctor. It's like a queue at the bank where you stand in line and go to the window as soon as it's free. The dpctors are sitting there like in a bank
.. anyway .... I get there , hand over my prescription in an envelope and the doctor then prescribes the pill for my asthma !! " that's ridiculous " I protest...

I spend a lot of time attempting to put my feelings and thoughts into words, trying to communicate to myself and others my thoughts, passions, emotions, and love.
My thoughts are often abstract.
It takes time and effort to wrap them up into words.

Mira to Mind control ... about complaints and Complaining.
Why complain ?
What would happen if we stopped complaining ?
What's it all about ?
Why does negative news sell and not positive news ?
In a Sunday morning sermon, Pastor Will told his congregation he wanted to make the world a complaint-free place. To prove he was serious, Will passed out purple bracelets to each church member and offered them a challenge.
"If you catch yourself complaining, you take [the bracelet] and you move it to the other wrist," Will says. "The idea is to ultimately keep it [on the same wrist] for 21 days." Will chose this length of time, he says, because scientists believe it takes that long to form a new habit.
21 days to form a new habit . Interesting.
Will believes if everyone would stop complaining, the world would be a much better place. "[I think] everybody agrees the world is not the way we would like it to be. I wonder if there's some relation between the two."
Shortly after reading this, I receive a text from a client who has received several hours of free therapy from me, requesting a session to discuss his future plans and issues." Fine " I replied, suggesting two possible times and also my fee, which , btw is reasonable.
" hey that's a bit out of my price range , gonna have to take a rain check " comes the reply.
I feel angry, disprespected, cheated and used.
My first complaint of the day.
There is a lesson in here somewhere about freebees. Is it so that when you get something for nothing that you value it less than when you have to pay for it ?

A spot of heat and sunshine magically transform my world.
It must have been around 27C today.
Pleasant, Very pleasant
Not too hot at all for me, though I noticed people seeking shade.
Bring it on , I say
25C - 35 C is perfect.
I'm definately going to find myself a cosy spot by water somehwere tomorrow. To heck with the " to do list " if it's sunny and warm - i'm going to be in it soaking up the golden rays.
Clear sky, stars .. but where is the moon ?
Off to bed now
May all sentient beings in all dimensions be well happy and peaceful .

Sunshine and heat at last around 25C.
I love it ! Stll hot enough for me yet. I like the sort of heat that relaxes every muscle in your body and has you moving around leisurely and slowly.
Buses and trains full of sweaty people should be avoided , The great outdoor especially near water is pure bliss. Drinking water all the time is a must though.
Will post some pics of Drottningholm in a minute ![]()
How's your Sunday unfolding ?
@ Sunday, 05. Aug, 2007 – 11:39:59
11:30 and I'm about to have breakfast.
My "cupboard" aka fridge was bare or nearly bare - no eggs- so I was forced to do some grocery shopping. 10 am on a Sunday morning - noone about. Still half asleep , I was beginning to think I'd got the time wrong
Lovely day. I'm planning to go out to Drottningholm castle and park - the Swedish Royal family's residence. You can go there by boat , but it will probably by packed this time of the year so I'll take the bus to Bromma and then another bus.
Right .. must check times.. have breakfast and then be off. Have a fabulous Sunday .. may the sun shine brightly on your day ...love and peace in all your dimensions. ![]()
P.S. to myself. My Dream last night was arty and happy. DOn't remember the details , but it was fun.
Also , last night when I went out to water the plants on the balcony at 2:30 am - I saw a falling star and made a wish !

Could this be the summer that seems to have evaded us so far?
Setting out today not knowing what sort of weather to expect. Stuffed a raincoat in my rucksack as well as glittery shawl. Tank top and jeans it was. Layers are a good thing.
Met Lena at Södra station and then Susanne. Maarja joined us after painting her kitchen
Our day turned out well and unfolded nicely.. The sun did shine on our Pride Parade. It was a good turnout - a bit like being part of a Felini film . Everyone happy .. a lot of gayety .. dancing and singing in the streets. The atmosphere was very gay
Police, Military , Church , political parties, parents of gay and lesbians ,deaf gays , handicapped gay , transvestites ,..... lots of differnt people represented in the Pride Parade.. young and old .. a really colourful parade.
Afterwards Maarja and I went for a bite to eat and then for a coffee at Maria Torget - a lovely square with fountains and trees.
Our angel was with us
Time flew by . Finally Maarja's for drinkies- a couple of campari sodas- and to watch the third Ingmar Bergamn interview on T.V. after which a short walktp Firhemsplan and the train home.
And so to bed .. night night ...

"You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait. You need not even wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice;it will roll in ecstasy at your feet."

I've just been recommended Dr. Michael Newton's book by catzcycradle ( http://www.blog.co.uk/user/catzycradle/ )
So I google and read :
" There comes that time when the soul must once again leave the sanctuary of the spirit world for another trip to earth. This decision is not an easy one. Souls must prepare to leave a world of total wisdom, where they exist in a blissful state of freedom, for the physical and mental demands of a physical body. Once back in the spirit world, souls have misgivings about even temporarily leaving a world of self-understanding, comradeship, and compassion to go to a planetary environment of uncertainty and fear brought about by aggressive, competing humans. Despite having family and friends on earth, many incarnated souls feel lonely and anonymous among large impersonal populations."
Souls have to answer 3 questions before incarnating on the physical plain and they are guided in their decision making process.
(1)
Am I ready for a new physical life?
(2)
What specific lessons do I want to undertake to advance my learning and development?
(3)
Where should I go, and who shall I be in my next life for the best opportunity to work on my goals?

Kept waking up every two hours or so to pee. Was it the grapes I ate before going to bed ? Was it the moon ?
Dream last night
Visting Daz. It is winter. There is a thin layer of snow on the ground and I slip. Daz is wearing a thick overcoat. I'm waiting at the bustop for him to join me.
I'm packing glasses, cups and saucers in a carton to send to South Africa.
I've also packed the old blue suitcase that I have and it's full of clothes.
Client T. phoned. He is back with his g/f and moving back to U.K. ! Nice. He's also decided to train as a therapist or counsellor and has to choose between 2 year course or 5 year course. Which would be better in terms of a career, he asks. Impossible question. How am I supposed to know that ? Sometimes all people want is a sounding board. In the end , may as well fip a coin and then .. if still uncertain " best out of three "

I'm still in Ingmar Bergman energies today .
Just watched part of a 4 hour interview , ( 2000) that Malou von Sivers had with Ingmar Bergman and an old Swedish actor,Erland Josephson. Life ,death and love.
It was quite weird seeing Ingemar Bergman, now on the otherside of the veil, but then 82 and very much alive talking his own death. He said he was quite looking forward to death whereas Erland Josephson didn't like the idea at all and said that it scared him.
It was fascinating to litsen to these two old men who had charmed so many women both on stage and off speaking so openly and candidly about sad and difficult times in their long lives.
Gunilla rang earlier for a chat on a break from wallpapering their bedroom. One year she had spent 6 intensive weeks on Fårö filming with both Ingemar Bergman and Liv Ullman. We need to talk more about this.
Lena N is also back from a week in Corsica and a week visiting friends and relatives, among them daughter's inlaws. We are planning to check out Stockholm Pride Parade on Saturday http://www.stockholmpride.org/program
Stockholm PRIDE festival started on Monday and finishes on Sunday , 5th August.
