The course went very well tonight- Sexuality is the theme. I'm assisting the teacher who is a sex therapist from Scotland ; quite excentric,colourful and bold and really knows her stuff. SHe often illustrates points by drawing on her own client work and work experience.A lot of group work and sharing.

One question we explored was " what is your relationship with sexuality ? Everyone drew and image for their sexuality and the and then presented themselves through the picture. What surprised me was the words they chose, as non-native speakers of English to describe their sexuality.' Words like 'cunt' and 'fuck' flowed freely as opposed to 'vagina' and 'having sex ' It was funny hearing someone present their Georgia O Keefe like drawing as " I am a cunt, hot and spicy ...." as well as The mpre poetic " I am an ocean , strong and powerful , changeable, sometimes frozen and stale , I am both life and death "

You grow hair on the palm of your hands if you masturbate.
Too much sex makes you deaf /blind etc
Men need sex more than women.
Only women want foreplay.
Your parents don't have sex.
Women who initiate sex are loose women.
She says " no" but means " yes ".
