Re 15th October

by miramaze @ Thursday, 11. Oct, 2007 - 15:34:43

I have to say this .

Thank you dearest blogland friends for your encouragementand supoort.

I'm starting today  well.. why wait till the 15 th ? Our environment needs our contribution today .

Here and now.

My plan is to write about how each of us can improve our psycho - spiritual environment.

I sincerely believe that it all starts with a thought, a belief.

The good news is that we can CHOOSE our conscious thoughts and therefore make a difference , not only to ourselves and our own personal happiness, but to the rest of the world, since we are ALL in relationship with each other.

When you are happy ... people around you are happy .
Hapoiness is contageous.

It all starts with AWARENESS .. that is the first step.

May we ALL follow our BLISS .

Spank me happy ?

Spank me happy ?
No way

Arbeitet machts frei?
Not for me

I'm reviewing my beliefs about work again
this sounds more like it :

Work should be in order to live. We don't live
in order to work. That shift in awareness is
necessary.?

-- Matthew Fox

What are your beliefs around work?
Do you believeit's necessary to work hard to earn a living?
Nopain, no gain?
Do you believe a woman's/ man's work is never done?
or That play is a waste of time?

Whose beliefs are they , anyway -  yours or someone else's ?

Learning to let go of the ways we inadvertently
and unconsciously contribute to our own pain is
the key to finding radiant physical and emotional
health.

-- Ingrid Bacci

To do great work a man ( or woman ) must be very idle as well
as very industrious.

Absolutely , Samuel Butler

The true object of all human life is play.

Good one !! G.K. Chesterton

Burma activist 'dies in custody'

http://news. bbc.co.uk/ 1/hi/world/ asia-pacific/ 7038921.stm

A Burmese pro-democracy activist arrested during anti-government protests last month has died in custody, a rights group has said.

Win Shwe was arrested on 26 September near Mandalay, as the government began its bloody crackdown on the protesters.

The National League for Democracy (NLD) member died during questioning, the Thailand-based Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) said.
His death raises fresh concerns for the hundreds of people still in custody.
The 42-year-old activist died "as a result of torture during interrogation" , the AAPP said.

"His body was not sent to his family and the interrogators indicated that they had cremated it instead."

Bless his soul, he is at peace now.
Bless all the monks in Burma for their courage and generosity of spirit.
Bless the perpetrators, may their hearts open to love and compassion,
Peace prevails in our hearts and souls .
And so it is
Love and light to us all.

I've registered for Blog Action Day , 15 October 2007

by miramaze @ Thursday, 11. Oct, 2007 - 00:43:56

Blog Action Day

On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind. In 2007 the issue is the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

We’re looking for bloggers of all nationalities and backgrounds, writing about all topics to join in. Here’s what you have to do:

Publish on October 15th
Publish a post on their blog which relates to an issue of their own choice pertaining to the environment.

For example: A blog about money might write about how to save around the home by using environmentally friendly ideas. Similarly a blog about politics might examine what weight environmental policy holds in the political arena.

Posts do not need to have any specific agenda, they simply need to relate to the larger issue in whatever way suits the blogger and readership. Our aim is not to promote one particular viewpoint, only to push the issue on the table for discussion. So write in whatever way suits your readers and your blog, just relate it back to the environment and make sure it goes up on October 15th.

Other things you can do
You can also participate in Blog Action Day by posting a banner on your site (http://blogactionday.org/promote) or by donating your day’s blog earnings to an environmental charity of your choice.
