Nightmares tommorrow .La_spice is having a poetry competition and I decided to enter
Now I've never written a poem before , but decided that I could do it . Sat down with a piece of paper and set too. You'll see the result tomorrow. I think it has to posted on 13th.

Had a nice long chat with my friend Penny in Silverdale but apart from that an uneventful but enjoyable Friday evening.

I thought you'd like to know about this campaign: the European Union will decide this Monday, 15 October, whether to adopt stronger sanctions and incentives to press the repressive Burmese military junta into dialogue with the opposition. Avaaz.org is mobilizing citizens of every EU country to send messages to their foreign ministers urging them to take action. These sanctions won't hurt ordinary people--but they will strengthen the democracy movement in Burma.
