My hens dream

In my dream last night I'm watching some white hens . I think they are in some kind of enclosure but the front is open.
I see them dancing and also wrestling .. like people do, only they were using their wings.
Later these hens are taken across the yard to a new place but while my back is turned they have disappeared . Where have they gone ? I am surprised. There is nowhere for them to go . I shrug my shoulders and dismiss it, but my sister's voice is concerned. We must find them .. we are responsible for them.
My Monday so far
The dustbin men woke me around 7 am , noisy feckers
Still.. I', glad they cart away all our rubbish.
Spent an hour looking through my notebook of notes and posted them in my on- line notebook . Easier to read than my handwriting. Some examples.
All form of insanity is the fear of losing control.
Whan you allow yourself to be vulnerable ,
in THAT moment you are INVULNERABLE .
Our petty concerns fall away when we contemplate the INFINITE .
Control is a substitute for love
Anger is the need to control
Anxiety is fear of losing control
Frustration is not getting the control you need
Depression is when you face helplessness and lost control, fear of loving who you are .
********
Antidote to feeling helpless :
If you can't do something about it
- don't THINK about it .
*********
FEAR
Fear is a catalyst for the exporation of growth.
*********
SURRENDER
Any attempt to surrender is futile
but
when you wanyt to see the real
surrender becomes automatic .

Are these thoughts mine ? I've made them mine. They all come from the collective .. the world soul ![]()
Sticky note for Meno *calenders *
Quote Old_Nick :
" Someone suggested a bloggers version of that calendar idea, for charity of course. I think a few people were up for it but I don't think it got past the thinking out loud stage. "
Meno .. how about taking this on ?
( see my sunflower post on calender girls )

A film at the end of the day
Great to end the day with a film- " Calendar Girls " - set in Yorkshire , which is where I come from originally , so it has added sentimental value. Also good to know that the work of the Calendar Girls continues today. and is in memory of John Baker who died from non-Hodgkin?s lymphoma in 1998 at the age of 54.
There were some lovely lines in the film about woman not reaching full bloom until later on in life .. before going to seed.

"The flowers of Yorkshire are like the women of Yorkshire Every stage of their growth has its own beauty, but the last phase is always the most glorious. Then very quickly they all go to seed. Which makes it ironic my favourite flower isn't even indigenous to the British Isles, let alone Yorkshire. I don't think there's anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower. For me, that's because of the reason behind its name. Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky. A satellite dish for sunshine. Wherever light is, no matter how weak, these flowers will find it. And that's such an admirable thing. And such a lesson in life."
Rigjht , I'm off to dreamland now
