Pickled bairn brian brain

The grey matter is moving slowly today.

I fear my brain is still pickled from season's festivities.

I've been ttrying to create suitable affirmations and intentions for 2008 , affirmations and intentions to live by but very little is forthcoming

My CD player has died and will be sent to the graveyard of naughty CD players very soon unless we see a ressurection soon.

In the meantime I cannot resist taking silly tests . The latest one said :

"You are pretty nuts! You laugh at some people's misfortune, and talk to yourself an awful lot. You're still not crazy enough to need to be committed, you just need some psycho-therapy.”

Have you ever opened the back of your TV to let all the little people out?
Have you ever tried to check if the light is still on when the fridge door is closed?

It was snowing when I woke up around noon today . Rooftops were all white.

Had breakfast and realised that I was missing a courgette ( zuchini ) and some cream cheese for the " amuse bouche" nibbles I intended to make for dinner.

Maarja and Lina arrived half past four, really really hungover, the pair of them, moving around slowly.

Suits me , since moving around in a trance like state is my prefered way of being

My CD player refused point blank to play when they arrived , insisting " no CD " in the display. It also refused to play the cleaner CD. I think it's done for It is so sad when machines are sick or when they die. Noone is interested in repairs. There is built in obsolescence , I think. Anyone who is good at distance healing of electronic equipment is so welcome to have a go at "healing" or otherwise fixing Mr CD, otherwise it is the graveyard for him.

All is quiet and peaceful here. I hope you have enjoyed your first day of the year . 2008 is going to be a good year.
