The weekend was lovely but also tinged with concern about A-S and her dizzy spells. Over dinner on Saturday, she spoke of conflicts at work that had been worrying her and the need to take time off. Her doctor wants her to do that apparently but she has kept refusing. I wonder how many more signs from her bpdy before she listens. This state of affairs is becoming all too familiar among al too many service- minded people. When will we all realise that we are not machines? we are organic human beings. Apparently A-S is seeing her doctor today . I'll phone and find out more this evening.
Saw " Hidalgo " last night- a most unusual and gripping film based on a true story about an Indian man and his mustang and the 3000 km dangerous horce race across the Arabian Desert. ( See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidalgo_(film) ) Cried buckets too.
My dream last night was colourful.
Lena G, wearing the most gorgeously stunning red gown slim fitted and embroidered like a sari. She has gold plaited hair extensions, in her long straight hair. " What a good idea " I think to myself.
We go up in a lift - someone presses several buttons as we get in and the lift shoots up very fast right to the top.
It's Lena's party and I havn't brought along party clothes so she lends me two very dainty necklaces. I go home to pick up some clothes and know that I have to pick up a parcel at the post office on the way. Before I get to the post office , the post van stops and I am handed a parcel , the size of a shoe box with black labels on both ends. the parcel morphs into a sewing machine and i know that it has been given to me as a gift. ( hint hint from my subconsious - make your own cklothes
)

Trying to get friends to look after thier health is a hard job. Look after yourself and trust that they will have the sense to do the same.
