It was snowing when I woke up around noon today . Rooftops were all white.
Had breakfast and realised that I was missing a courgette ( zuchini ) and some cream cheese for the " amuse bouche" nibbles I intended to make for dinner.
Maarja and Lina arrived half past four, really really hungover, the pair of them, moving around slowly.
Suits me , since moving around in a trance like state is my prefered way of being 
My CD player refused point blank to play when they arrived , insisting " no CD " in the display. It also refused to play the cleaner CD. I think it's done for 
It is so sad when machines are sick or when they die. Noone is interested in repairs. There is built in obsolescence , I think. Anyone who is good at distance healing of electronic equipment is so welcome to have a go at "healing" or otherwise fixing Mr CD, otherwise it is the graveyard for him.
All is quiet and peaceful here. I hope you have enjoyed your first day of the year . 2008 is going to be a good year.
