  • Beautiful blue

Across the road from the Angel Shop , little ceramics shop. This stunning blue plate caught my eye crying " Come in for a closer look." My picture does not do justice to the electric blue and texture of this plate.

  • Angels in the Old Town

When I was in Paris a year ago , I stumbled upon an Angel shop in Montmartre. It turned out that the owner of the shop had heard about the Angel Shop in Gamla Stan Stockholm but did not know where it was. I was able to send her the address as she thought it might be a business oportunity.

A few weeks ago I heard that someone I knew was renting a house in Spain from the owner of the Angel Shop in Gamla Stan and asked me to say " hello " when I was next there, which is what I tried to do today. Unfortunatley only the Angels were there and the shop assistant, the owner was apparently in Thailand celebrating her 70th birthday, but I did enjoy being with the angels and chatting to the Angel lady's assistant.

  • The Old Town

The sun shining brightly with all its might entices me out of my cave and off I go in search of adventure on this, the first sunny day of the year.

Drottninggatan is the street that leads to the Gamla Stan , the Old Town , and on the way I pass the Parliament buildings
