  • A Guided Meditation

I Can Do What I Love
    Meditation by Orin and DaBen

I let myself experience a moment
    of inner silence right now.

    I follow my breath,
    feeling my aliveness
    with each breath.

    I imagine myself
as a flower, plant, or tree.
I observe if I need anything
    to assist me in looking
    healthy and beautiful.

I have just the right amount
    of sunlight and air,
    of water and good soil.
    I appreciate how beautiful
    and unique I am.

My life is a work of art in progress.
It is growing more beautiful everyday.
I am the artist of my life,
    creating, visualizing,
    and using my imagination
to bring the beauty and love within me
    into its outer expression
where I may experience it in my life.

    I am unique.
I have a special contribution to make
that is mine alone to make.
I have a reason for being on earth,
I am like the flower, plant, or tree,
    unique and special,
offering my beauty to the world.

I think of one thing I can do
    that I love to do,
    that I do well,
    that brings me joy
    and makes me feel alive.
    I now do it!

    I now affirm that everything
    I do with my life,
is something I love to do,
    that I do well,
    that brings me joy,
    and makes me feel alive.

    I trust that the activities
    I love to do
    are my life's work.
The things I love to do
    are my special gifts
    I can offer the world.

I believe I can do what I love,
    I know as I do
    I am drawing to myself
    joy,
    love,
    aliveness,
    and abundance
    at every level.

    I now release those activities
that are not on my path,
so I may draw to me those that are.

    I think of one activity
    I am doing that
    does not bring me
a sense of joy or aliveness.
I make a picture of myself
    releasing this activity,
knowing that as I release it,
    something even better will come.

I know I can have fulfilling,
    satisfying days,
    doing activities I love,
    living in a supportive environment,
    around people I enjoy.

I now affirm that as I do what I love
I am making the special contribution
    I came to make.
As I do what I love
    it makes me magnetic
    to money and abundance,
    to joy and aliveness.

I now do what I love
and came to earth to do.

This resonates well with where I am at this moment :)

  • Back from my walk

15:15 on the way back from my walk I look up and see the cresent moon between the church and the tree tops.

Thoughts while walking around the lake :

    Memory

Everything before the present moment is memory.
All that MIra has experienced is a unique memory and exists only as a memory in Mira's mind.
A memory can feel very real.
Who I essentially am is a memory ; as story that I have created about myself and that others have created about me in their relationship with me.

That said , I think all this will sound better after a few drinks of wine  :))

  • Amaryllis

Maarja and Lina gave me an amaryllis when they were here on New years Day. :) It grew and it grew taller and taller until yesterday I suddenly heard it creaaaaak as it keeled over :(

Well .. armed with a sharp kitchen knife to minimise pain , I decided to amputate and place in this tall vase where it continues to bloom and grow. :)

  • Sunny Sunday today

    A Sunny Sunday today .. hurray ! :)
I might get round to going out in the sunshineŽif I get my act together and get off the computer ;)

I get side tracked replying to a lovely e-mail from Marie who is now living in Brazil. I have to be spontaneous and do what I feel like in the moment.

There was also a really interesting message in the weekly Kabbala tune up newsletter.

We have no awareness of desire that is already fulfilled.

The kabbalists explain that when we - the souls of humanity - were originally created, every possible desire was already fulfilled. We were born a completely fulfilled soul.

" We were also born unappreciative of what the Creator was instilling within us.

So, I'm taking that thought with me as I walk around the lake in the sunshine before it sets.
