  • FDA search for a generic name for Viagra

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and a generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered are Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails", "highballs" and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink". Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

  • Spilling my guts out

    Funny how that happens.

In answering friend's questions on here I find myself writing reams about myself that turns out to be quite revealing and interesting. I have to ask myself " why here ? " and " why now ?"

I suppose these things appear when the time is right.

It might start with someone asking baout white lies, another asking for relationship advoce and then also feedback on my own ventilating and rants.

Here's something I wrote just now regarding relationships.

My mum and dad were married for over 50 years until he died 7 years ago. They were dovoted to each other but also quite different, My dad needed to socialise more whereas my mum was quite happy to stay at home.

Every Friday night he would escape to The Club for a pint or two with his friends at " The Club ". the Latvian Welfare Fund where he was treasurer. He was greatly respected there and appreciated and I think he thrived on praise and flattery which he didn't get at home. ¨

My mum , bless her, is a feisty , practical down to earth woman who likes to nag and not easy to love as she always speaks her mind and blurts out the first thing that comes into her head.

Dad would wind her up no end but when it came to push and shove he loved her dearly and would respect her opinion. They had different personalities and different needs.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

In other news , I heard from NG the rat yesterday, It's the year of the Rat.LOL
