I expect techie stuff to work and don't like it when it doesn't and when I take the trouble to go down to sort things out at Telia ( Telephone company) I expect service and satisfaction , not stubborn nonchalance.
Was not lucky with the sales assistant . Talking to a brick wall would have been more satisfying .
Still , I am not in dire need.
I am grateful that my mac AND PC both work with the internet . I am grateful
but , it's the switching over that is tricky. I unplug the PC connection and plug in Mac, but no connection
Seems like the only solution is to switch off the black box ( modem ? ) or whatever it is called , let it rest for 20 minutes and then it connects ![]()
The cord free router that the Prof brought around does not work in my house, but does at his home. I thing the modem thing is too old and that's what I want the tele company to upgrade.
Isn't it frustrating when you can't talk to a real person when you try to reach customer service ? a whole run around of pressing buttons and going around in circles. Insanity.
