  • Speakers for mac

    Since my CD has died :( a solution had to be found.:yes:
    Mac to the rescue comes, with an inbuilt library of hundreds of tunes. Bought a pair of inexpensive speakers today which work surprisingly well.

    I also discovered the newly opened Mac Shop right across the road from where I live. Now THEY have absolutely fabulous space. agey high - tech speakers that looked and sounded ultra sophisticated, but they will have to wait... for now.

    Now I'm going to feed Mac with some of my music. I can do that , but I have still to learn how to label the tunes. I thought I had , but I can't have been doing it properly as they appear as track 1 and 01 , 2 and 02 etc .......

  • Quick pasta

    Tummy rubbling I go into the kitchen in seacrh of food.
    Open the fridge and take out half courgette , mushrooms , onion, garlic and a carrot.
    Water on to boil
    With olive oil in the pan, in go the ingredients.
    WHolewheat pasta goes in to the pan.
    Meanwhile veggies are sautéed and cooked.
    7-10 minutes later , pasta is ready , drained and joins the veggies in the pan and the whole lot os tossed around to allow flovours to mingle.
    At this point I add a few drops of truffle oil and the whole lot goes in to my bowl.
    Meal delicious meal ready in 10 minutes and tummy rumbles satisfied.

    That hit the spot quite nicely, thank you :)

  • My beautiful arty socks

    I picked them up today :)
    They arrived all the way from Barcelona and were knitted by my Siberian friend A. who did a really good job. THey match my painting perfectly. Thank you A , I deLIGHTED with my socks :yes:
