Today I went to Medborgarplatsen, Stockholm to listen to politicians from each of the parties speak on behalf of Tibet and people who have no voice of their own, oppressed and tortured by the cruel dictatorship of the Chinese government.

Peace through non violence and dialogue is what they all called for. An end to the gross violation of human rights.

We are the ones we have been waiting for. It is up to us now, those of us who have a voice and enjoy freedom of speech. It is up to us to act on behalf of those who cannot.

I've decided to stay up for the " A NEW EARTH " Eckhart Tolle / Oprah web event at www.oprah.com. and now only just over an hour before doors open at 8:30 p.m. there, which is 2:30 a.m. here in my neck of the woods.

I want, least once , to take part live. So here I am , sipping an energising banana, pineapple and cranberry smoothie and Earl Grey Green tea after that.

Tonight's seminar is on chapter 5 - The Pain-Body.

Excavation starts at Stonehenge

The first excavation inside the ring at
Stonehenge in more than four decades gets under
way on Monday.
The two-week dig will try to establish, once and
for all, some precise dating for the
creation of the monument.
It is also targeting the significance of the
smaller bluestones that stand inside the
giant sarsen pillars.
Researchers believe these rocks, brought all the
way from Wales, hold the secret to the
real purpose of Stonehenge as a place of healing.
The excavation at the 4,500-year-old UK landmark
is being funded by the BBC. The work will
be filmed for a special Timewatch programme to be
broadcast in the autumn.
'Magical stones'
The researchers leading the project are two of
the UK's leading Stonehenge experts -
Professor Tim Darvill, of the University of
Bournemouth, and Professor Geoff Wainwright,
of the Society of Antiquaries.

It's been a wonderfully exciting sort of day .
Adrenalin.
The excitement and rush of impressions... inspiration ... experiences that feels like a caffeine KICK , if you know what I mean.
A sort of HYPER day, in contrast to my very laid back hermit type of days.

JOY

The Prof phoned this morning to say that he was on his way and 20 minutes later he was here and ready to install the broadband. I was fresh out of the shower and dressed and proceeded to make us breakfast as he busied himself with cables and installation.

An hour or so later he was on his bike again to his next appointment and me to my NESTS meeting in town ( network of English Speaking Therapists in Stockholm )

More inspiration. It's like so many things to talk about and so many things to take in . A whole sörgåsbod of things ... what do you start with first when you want it ALL ?

I stayed on after the meeting to test MacLappy on the caf'es wireless network - a first for me - so more excitement.

Then I wandered down to the GLOBAL ACTION FOR TIBET meeting in Medborgaråplatsen , listened to representatives from each political party speak for the Tibetan cause. There were also a few songs. It's all about human rights and the lack of rights. Once again I became aware of how WE are the fortunate ones. We have a voice, where others have not. WE ARE THE ONES THAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

Pizza , from scratch baked in the cast iron pan with mozzarella , tomatoes , onions and mushrooms.

I greased the pan with olive oil and lined it with the pizza dough. while the oven was warming up I heated the pan to make the bottom all crusty and then finished it off in the oven.

Burned my tongue tasting it straight out of the oven.

You can focus on the unity and common thread of all existence, see the spectacular awe-some reality of creation, and experience the miraculous, or focus on what is lacking and then experience nothingness.

Please do not fall into the trap of "passion" for death again.

Please fall in love with yourself again, and with all your human brothers and sisters. For all are precious, magnificent, and sacred expressions of the ONE life force flowing through all living things.

I'm nearly blonde again. The red highlights I had put in have faded. Mind you it's over month ago now, isn't it ? How time flies. I noticed on a TV commercial that Schwarzkop have brought out a hair dye for men. It's a gel- apply , leave on for 5 minutes and wash out. Easy peasy natural colour to cover up grey. Another spring day, with pigeons cooing and making their amorous sounds. At 5 am this morning , I looked out of the window and happened to see the moon - a most beautiful waning golden orb in the pale blue morning sky. I feel so excited when I manage to spot the moon on her ever changing journeys through the sky. She wasn't there last night when I went to bed. Her setting place had also changed.

Plants needed watering - did that

Broadband from Comhem has arrived and needs to be collected at the shop. Phoned the Prof to share this good news , as he has promised to help me install the thing. Bless. Also reminded him of his father's birthday today. Happy Birthday Roberto ! Virtual hugs and kisses.

Have been trying to organise my google homepage. Since installing firefox on mac lappy ...hmmm that's a good name MacLappy ....there are changes. Templates .. tabs.. add-ons..... it's a jungle out there. Takes time to personalise things .. and I so enjoy personalising things. It takes time and is addictive. Frustrating too when I can't control as I would like lol .. see.. control issues making themselves visible

Belly full to bursting after a delightful Indian meal . Anna-Stina's treat. Pakoras to start with and then lamb sizzle ( ? ) piping hot in an iron dish for Anna Stina and Prawn curry for me. Nan bread and papodoms. Yummy. I'm so glad I can now parp to my heart's content without disturbing the peace.

At the end of the meal A-S asked if I wanted some Indian tea . I declined at first but she insisted . I can always drink tea- only it turned out to be CHAI .. the milky spicy drink that makes me feel quite sick just to look at Sorry. Call me ungrateful but I simply could not drink it just to be polite. I feel awful now but would have felt worse had I drunk it . It was an embarrassing end to a lovely meal. The Bollywood music channel on the flat screen nearby helped change the subject

lost the sense of our connection as part of the greater web of life. As a result we have inflicted a wound on our world from which it may not recover. I have vivid memories of the Cullberg ballet , Nicklas Ek in the leading role, performing this multi- dimensional work of art. Stage filled with half naked dancers,rhythmical dancing to Igor Stravinsky's music. The pulsing and throbbing, the shifting colours, mingling bodies, evoking the Life Force . Kundalini rising.

This is not something that is meant to be understood with the mind , but experienced with every cell of the body Enjoyable too. No thinking required. just enjoying.

So easy to get carried away .

Time marches on at an ever increasing rate, and it will continue to do so. Events that are important to your final years upon Earth also speed up, and are approaching a period of much activity. We see behind the scenes and nothing will stop the plan for your transition into a new level of experience. The time is ripe for a significant move that will alter the balance of power in favour of those supporting the Light. Within a period of approximately 3 months we expect to see announcements, revealing a shift at levels of authority that will have a pronounced effect in the political arena. Our allies are working towards reclaiming some of the power that has been in the hands of the dark for a long time. At present we find no need to use more forceful actions, and we see that slow but positive changes are more likely to succeed.

The dark forces are extremely concerned about their inability to launch more plans for your incarceration, and are aware that the net is closing in on them. Martial Law is the only weapon left that will return full power to them, but they are being denied the opportunity to create the circumstances to bring that about. The Light does not resort to any measures that may harm people or interfere with their freewill. However, we can play the same game as the dark, with the benefit of knowing exactly what they plan. On the other hand, they indulge in all manner of controls to try and find out what the opposition is planning. Their surveillance and ability to listen in to all of your conversations is using advanced technology, and there are few places where you are safe from their prying. Their problem is that masses of information are useless to them unless they can process it quickly, and they are sinking in a mire of often unimportant and miniscule details.

People power can be seen to thwart the plans of the Illuminati all over the world. There is a mood of defiance, and in some countries whole masses of people are confronting their leaders demanding changes. Regrettably violence is sometimes used by both sides, but the outcome often resolves the issues. Man has always turned to force to get his own way, and it saddens us to see your history full of such accounts. That is not of course our way, and we have long passed beyond such methods and work for peace by negotiation. All civilisations eventually realise the futility of wars, and lessons are only learnt at the cost of millions of lives and all that follows.

We of the Galactic Federation comprise of peaceful nations, yet all have at sometime experienced the horrors of war. Once this approach is set aside, it is surprising how quickly people come together and unite for lasting peace. Where Earth is concerned it is rising up and leaving the old ways behind, but that is not easy as too many people are in the business of profiting from wars. Your arms trade is clearly a major player, and even governments export their weaponry and have no scruples about supplying it to the “enemy”. Without our help, you would be unable to remove this monster, but not only shall we quieten the sound of war, we will also ensure that its capability is closed down. Part of our plans include the conversion of many industries to more peaceful pursuits.

The change from your old pattern of thinking will take time, but we will ensure that our plan is known to you and its benefits clearly understood. We come to release you from the hold of the dark forces, that have deliberately stifled your knowledge and access to new ideas and inventions. You should by now have overcome your energy problems, and advanced into new methods of medical treatment without reliance on drugs, and also established a fair method of distributing your wealth. As you know, we will address all of these problems as we cleanse the Earth and prepare you for your spiritual upliftment.

You have a saying, that Heaven helps those who help themselves, and it contains a truth that refers to your will and intent to change things for the good of all Mankind. It is your freewill, and if you desire to lift yourselves out of your present predicaments, we are allowed to aid you providing you make the first move. You have clearly signalled that it is time for change, and after millennia of experiencing wars you have turned towards the Light. Bringing it to Earth has weakened the power of the dark forces, and there is no turning back. Like a snowball gathering pace the momentum is unstoppable, and it approaches a time when a quantum leap forward is inevitable.

All is set for an exciting year when at last you will clearly see a major change of direction. It is building up to a crescendo and it will start an era of rapid changes in fulfilment of the Plan for Man. Ascension will take place, and you are in the midst of a separation of the two paths open to Man. Soon it will all become clear, but not until there are major changes in the governments of the world. Those in power will not relinquish it very willingly, but we come with the authority of the Creator expressed through the Councils of Higher Beings that oversee the Universe. There will be no physical force used by us, but should there be attempts to use it against us we will permanently disable any weapons pointed in our direction.

We can assure you of a resounding victory over those who oppose the changes that are so essential to your upliftment. These end times are destined to bring the success that has eluded you in earlier cycles. This time you have responded to the Light sufficiently to justify our intervention, and the assistance of the Angelic Realms who have in reality always been with you. It is you who have made this possible, and a happy and joyous ending comes with your elevation into the higher dimensions. You have earnt it through sheer hard work, and allowed your experiences to show you the one and only pathway to the Light. It is your awareness of your true selves, and your everlasting connection to the Source of All That Is.

You are working towards putting Unconditional Love into practice, and the Earth is your melting pot where you meet all types of challenges. Dear Ones I am Atmos from Sirius and we know you well, and can tell you that many of you are moving into a state of bliss and have found the key to living in the Light. Woke up 9 am and enjoyed staying in dream energies. My dreams last night included friends from the past and present and Johanna ( my son's girlfriend ) asking me " how did you know I was pregnant ?" and omen ? a sign ? In the dream 3 of us knew.

My gmail account has gone weird on me. It only allows me to send emails if they are in lower case letters- either that , or all capitals .. one or the other but not both . gremlins at work ? Anyone else had any trouble ?

I'm changing my broadband supplier from Telia to Comhem as they are 100 SEK cheaper. it's a cable connection instead of via the phone line. I hope it all goes smoothly. Wish me luck. Brunch was lovely. We ate and ate all afternoon. The Prof and Johanna liked their Easter eggs filled with sweeties . I have an egg that I fill with sweets for the Prof at Easter. This time each had half a shell containing a big bag of sweets. " you don't get to keep the shell " said the Prof to Johanna , instructing her in the ways of our tradition I was very happy with the bottle of wine and pink tulips they brought me.

It was a lovely cosy afternoon. Even clearing up and washing up was fun. Johanna washed, the Prof dried and I put away. It is not often such efficiency happens in my house and felt a lot like playing.

Hugs and kisses on leaving and I watched them drive away in the two seater car that Johanna had borrowed from her dad's girlfriend. It's one of those very tiny cars that look like toy cars and park in spaces that are too small for other cars

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to world leaders and the international community for their concern over the recent sad turn of events in Tibet and for their attempts to persuade the Chinese authorities to exercise restraint in dealing with the demonstrations.

Since the Chinese Government has accused me of orchestrating these protests in Tibet, I call for a thorough investigation by a respected body, which should include Chinese representatives, to look into these allegations. Such a body would need to visit Tibet, the traditional Tibetan areas outside the Tibet Autonomous Region, and also the Central Tibetan Administration here in India. In order for the international community, and especially the more than one billion Chinese people who do not have access to uncensored information, to find out what is really going on in Tibet, it would be of tremendously helpful if representatives of the international media also undertook such investigations.

Whether it was intended or not, I believe that a form of cultural genocide has taken place in Tibet, where the Tibetan identity has been under constant attack. Tibetans have been reduced to an insignificant minority in their own land as a result of the huge transfer of non-Tibetans into Tibet. The distinctive Tibetan cultural heritage with its characteristic language, customs and traditions is fading away. Instead of working to unify its nationalities, the Chinese government discriminates against these minority nationalities, the Tibetans among them.

It is common knowledge that Tibetan monasteries, which constitute our principal seats of learning, besides being the repository of Tibetan Buddhist culture, have been severely reduced in both in number and population. In those monasteries that do still exist, serious study of Tibetan Buddhism is no longer allowed; in fact, even admission to these centres of learning is being strictly regulated. In reality, there is no religious freedom in Tibet. Even to call for a little more freedom is to risk being labeled a separatist. Nor is there any real autonomy in Tibet, even though these basic freedoms are guaranteed by the Chinese constitution.

I believe the demonstrations and protests taking place in Tibet are a spontaneous outburst of public resentment built up by years of repression in defiance of authorities that are oblivious to the sentiments of the local populace. They mistakenly believe that further repressive measures are the way to achieve their declared aim of long term unity and stability.

On our part, we remain committed to taking the Middle Way approach and pursuing a process of dialogue in order to find a mutually beneficial solution to the Tibetan issue.

With these points in mind, I also seek the international community's support for our efforts to resolve Tibet's problems through dialogue, and I urge them to call upon the Chinese leadership to exercise the utmost restraint in dealing with the current disturbed situation and to treat those who are being arrested properly and fairly.

It's been a glorious day ; bright and sunny and freezing cold. I ventured out to recycle empty wine bottles at the bottle bank, intending to walk around the lake , but changed my mind. The icy air was hurting my face and making my eyes water. The rest of me was fine though. After dumping the bottles , called in at the shop for groceries and then home again.

Pottered around and tended to the plants. They'd suffered a bit while I was away. Removed the dry brown leaves and brought the peace lilies into the front room. I don't think they were getting enough light in the blue room. They are now on top of the speakers. I'll play them some Mozart - they'll like that.

The Prof called for a chat and we shared our massage experiences. He also thought that Suwan was good. Invited him and Johanna round for Easter brunch , which will be on Monday as they are painting the kitchen tomorrow.

Methinks its about time to open a bottle of wine. The film " King Arthur " is on in half an hour . Sounds promising. Hope you are all enjoying your Ostara evening .

The Christian idea of Easter, in my opinion, seems to focus too much on suffering and not enough on resurrection and this simply does not feel right to me. There is enough suffering in this world without inflicting more upon oneself,

I find myself having to re-invent or personalise this holiday for myself.

What is real to me, is the full moon , the energies of the full moon , the snow , life force returning , birds starting to sing again, little chicks hatching , bunnies being born ,saps rising and increased daylight.

Ostara is a modern Neopagan festival loosely based on several holidays which were celebrated around the spring equinox (when day and night are nearly of equal length).

The Goddess Ostara’s (Eostre’s) is the Anglo-Saxon / Germanic Goddess of new beginnings, fertility, hope and renewal. Ostara celebration day can vary from the spring equinox (circa March 21) to the first full moon after the equinox.

This is a time of balance between day and night. Ostara's symbols include the hare, coloured eggs and spring flowers.

Ostara / Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox.

Ostara is an interesting Goddess because she is considered a Maiden Goddess but instead of a new crescent, uses full moon energy. This makes sense if we consider that she is the Goddess who fires up all the growth in the spring.

This dynamic Lady of spring has also had the female hormone Oestrogen named after her.

Bursting full of the power of femininity as well as regeneration, she takes the relay of life firmly in hand as the Crone has passed it to her from the underworld.

Ostara's name is apparently related to the word "east", and ultimately to an Indo-European root for "shining"--an obvious allusion to the rising sun.

Honouring a goddess of new light when days have become noticeably longer makes good sense to me as does associating this light with the life force.

Most Indo-European cultures had dawn goddesses of their own, whose names and functions parallel those of Ostara: Eos in Greece, Aurora in Rome, and Ushas in India.

I get it !! I finally get it .

I am learning to shed future fear.
Fear is never about the past , it is about the future , what MIGHT or MIGHT NOT happen. All is well in the now.
Too much time and effort goes into worrying.
At least now I am aware of this and with awarness comes choice.

What will the future will bring?
If I take care of the present , the future will take care of itself.

I now know that I can calm my trickster monkey mind and regain the ability to gaze confidently into my future by regularly affirming my capability, I CAN DO IT with intelligence, skillfulness, creativity and resources. I can actually FEEL the shift in my body as I affirm these words " I can do it "

Each time I catch myself thinking a critical , pessimistic or stressful thought I can examine it and turn it around if it is based on a lie. Invariably it always is.

" Although I am worried about XYZ , I also know that I have what it takes to overcome , succeed, solve, deal with anything and everything that comes my way "

I also now know that everything that the Universe sends is a gift.
This belief is incredibly empowering.
Everything can be turned to my advantage.
Creativity comes in here.

Quieting my critical inner voice can helps me look toward the future with optimistic eyes.

I know from past experience that most of what I have feared will likely never come to pass and is merely an invention of my inner critic. or something.Courage silences this critic and as courage courage gradually overwrites the inner critic optimism returns.

Grilled salmon and veggies for dinner , Grey's Anatomy followed by The Tudors where Sweating Sickness was killing people off in the thousands ,Anne Boleyn got it , but survived. Poor girl. She doesn't know yet that she is going to lose her head before long. I can't remember how it came about that Henry ordered her execution. They were so much in love. A bit drastic.

In Greys Anatomy a guy falls thousands of feet into shrubbery when his parachute fails to open and survives with only minor injuries and another chap undergoes 5 hour heart surgery awake as he is allergic to anaesthetic.

It's been a strange sort of day. Snow and more snow , rain and hail but it doesn't seem to be sticking.

My neighbour Elizabeth and her son Tim came by to ask if I'd like to see their new home. They now live in what used to be Astrid's flat and is exactly like mine only it is on the ground floor and it has a bath tub.

I was amazed to find the energy spots in exactly the same place as in my flat. Promised to do a smudging ritual when they have finished unpacking.

There's a lot of moving around going on in our house- sort of musical chairs. 4 people changing flats within the house and a couple of new tenants moving in.

Now .. what shall I have for dinner ?

My thoughts go out to Abilene and her fammily. Losing a child is the unimaginable.. the unthinkable. This tragedy has touched many of us here in Blogland.

Spirit bless Abi and family with what they need and they continue to breathe in and out and get on with their lives.

I sicerely believe that Cody is fine and his spirit will always be with Abi . He is fine and would want Abi to be fine too.

Why does someone die when they are young? It is because they have completed their task . There is no other reason. I am sure that Cody touched the lives of many during his time on earth . His impact was , and continues to be profound. Bless his soul.

Winter strikes again A thin layer of snows everything outside. A blanket of snow that dampens sound. I slept like a log for 12 hours. Must be the cold virus in my system. Woke up expecting to have a nice hot shower only to find the water had been cut off. The council are digging outside our front door repairing sewage pipes and installing fiber optic cables as well I wonder if that will mean faster broadband.

Dreamt a lot too. In one sequence I think I was in another dimension or world In the dream we go to a place - a yard - where there are a lot of women, partially veiled. They seem cautious but curious. Some of them invite us in , but we decline and just look around. Outside there are men dressed like Arabs talking and shouting engaged in some sort of activity , it's not clear what .

Oh .. and I ate two handfuls of maltesers again last night

Happy Paddy's Day everyone. I'm not sure what to make of the saint. I don't like the way he sent al those snakes packing . Poor things. I bet there were more rats after that,

Feeling zonked today . Sleepy . Arms and legs feel like lead. I think there's a deox going on in my body. The cold germs that I must have picked up on the plane are finally being given their marching orders.

Massage is a wonderful thing ; it gets all sorts of things going. It's a good , satisfying , curative feeling that I'm experiencing despite the zonked feeling . There are times I would love to be a liver cell or lung cell with access to the inside workings going on in the body.

The massage was divine !

Suwan is really talented. It is obvious that he enjoys what he does and I think he has healing hands too.Back , arms , legs , feet , tum, neck , face , hands ... all got a massage. It took about an hour and half in all and then we drank tea, chatted and I was invited to stay to dinner.

It's fabulous to fee the energies circulating freely through the body and knots and tension dissolving. Pure well- being. I feel reborn , I really do and I am so very grateful.

Suwan has to give 30 massages before he is well and truly qualified. Only 26 more to go and abot 6 people booked in next week. It's the Prof 's turn tomorrow

Apart from massage Suwan , who is from Thailand , is also a very good cook. We had Thai tiger prawn soup flavoured with chili and something that resembles ginger but is not ginger and lemon grass, a side of rice and then salad . YUM !

In just over an hour I'm anticipating a state of bliss A friend of mine recently graduated from a course in Classic Massage and it is now my turn to claim mine

I've shaved my legs and the hair conditioner has left my skin silky smooth . Amazing. It's been ages since I've had a full body massage so I am really looking forward to this.

While I was in Bradford my sister treated me to an Indian head massage that was out of this world . She is still practising and graduates this week but I tell you she's good. It takes 30 minutes and is super relaxing. If companies provided this service for their hardworking employees productivity would increase and the world would be a much happier place.

Voice feels a little hoarse today.
Signs of a chest cold somehow related to getting things off my chest yesterday, I suspect.

Grapefruitseed drops and sage tea should nip things in the bud.

Dream last night was entertaining.I was having a secret affair with a doctor or dentist who also happend to be my son's girlfriend's step-father.. somehow connected to her. Our relationship, sort of secret, but in the dream we all go out together for drinks and a meal. At the restaurant the waitress asks " Will you be paying for 5 or for 2 " and I say " 2 "

Must be the box of Maltesers I ate last night. Once I start I can't stop.

Fish and chip shop , Idle and the other chippy

 Where has the day gone ?  I've been fiddling around with flickr trying to make sense of it , uploading photos from my visit to Manchester, Bradford , Idle and Saltaire. This while waiting for the " cooker guys " who finally carted away my old cooker and installed the new one which I then had to "prepare " by turning the oven on at 200C for an hour and the hot plates on full for 5 minutes. After that , wiping the oven clean with a damp cloth and washing the oven trays . That done , I  made myself a very late cooked breakffast at around 3pm,

Anyway , thought you might like to see pics of my mum's house.
It's the house where i was born , many moons ago ,  In fact both my sisters and I were all born at home. I was first waiting till the day my parents moved in to be born. I was nearly a month late too. The house is very dear to me. It's held us all through thick and thin and its walls soaked with memories. I don't know how long my mum , no 83 , will be able to stay there and manage it on her own. There are a lot of stairs , four flights to be precise , but she manages very well. A feisty , pint size lady she is, my mum. Active , Practical and down to earth . Always doing something  apart from when she is watching her programmes: Countdown, Eggheads, Emmerdale, Corry  and snooker when that's on. She's addicted to that .

Front, back , upstairs and downstairs. Inside and out. Bless this house for holding us all for for over fifty years.

In other news ... have been to Shipley Glen today , been on the little train , seen a rainbow, stopped off at the pub for cider and then fish and chips at friend Ian's place ..hence brief use of internet.
