An exciting day

by miramaze @ Monday, 31. Mar, 2008 - 22:46:25

It's been a wonderfully exciting sort of day .
Adrenalin.
The excitement and rush of impressions... inspiration ... experiences that feels like a caffeine KICK , if you know what I mean.
A sort of HYPER day, in contrast to my very laid back hermit type of days.

JOY

The Prof phoned this morning to say that he was on his way and 20 minutes later he was here and ready to install the broadband. I was fresh out of the shower and dressed and proceeded to make us breakfast as he busied himself with cables and installation.

An hour or so later he was on his bike again to his next appointment and me to my NESTS meeting in town ( network of English Speaking Therapists in Stockholm )

More inspiration. It's like so many things to talk about and so many things to take in . A whole sörgåsbod of things ... what do you start with first when you want it ALL ?

I stayed on after the meeting to test MacLappy on the caf'es wireless network - a first for me - so more excitement.

Then I wandered down to the GLOBAL ACTION FOR TIBET meeting in Medborgaråplatsen , listened to representatives from each political party speak for the Tibetan cause. There were also a few songs. It's all about human rights and the lack of rights. Once again I became aware of how WE are the fortunate ones. We have a voice, where others have not. WE ARE THE ONES THAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

It was also a very lovely sunny spring day :)

The Skeleton Key

by miramaze @ Sunday, 30. Mar, 2008 - 23:46:07

" The skeleton key "name of the film I just waqtched on TV.
I don'y usually like thrillers , but this one had a spooky house and magic in it .

A young woman helping care for an invalid in New Orleans finds herself caught in the middle of morbid going-ons centred around a group of Hoodoo (Not Voodoo, it's of a different culture. Voodoo is Haitian while Hoodoo is an old African American magic that just like Voodoo only works if you believe in it.) practitioners. ;)

There's a nice twist at the end ;)

In other news , I've fnished most of the pizza and wine . Bedtime and dreamland await  TTFN

With the maltesers gone

by miramaze @ Sunday, 30. Mar, 2008 - 22:09:46

With the maltesers gone , bless them and all the tasty pleasure they so willing give ;) I had to think of something else.

Pizza , from scratch baked in the cast iron pan with mozzarella , tomatoes , onions and mushrooms.

I greased the pan with olive oil and lined it with the pizza dough. while the oven was warming up I heated the pan to make the bottom all crusty and then finished it off in the oven.

Burned my tongue tasting it straight out of the oven.

Mamma mia !

A little uncionventional but absolutely delish .

Goes well with the Italian red.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm *cheers*

All gone !

by miramaze @ Sunday, 30. Mar, 2008 - 20:31:04

The stash of Maltesers I brought back from England ..... ALL GONE ! Finished ! Bye bye in my tummy. No more until the next time I go over. Thank goodness for that. I can't stop eating them when they are around. The only way to deal with temptation is to yield to it . I think Oscar Wild said that . :)

Dolores Cannon and food for thought

by miramaze @ Sunday, 30. Mar, 2008 - 15:57:49

Good afternoon blogland. I'm noticing the one hour less sleep as the clocks were turned forward again.

Lots of interesting stuff is coming my way in the form of emails from friends or simply " by chance " ;) These two quotes found on Dolores Cannon's website after watching a video clip of her talking about her work as a hypnotherapist and with past life regression amazing messages from beings from other worlds.

http://ozarkmt.com/index.html

Explore and see for yourself . DISCERNMENT as always.

"Do not believe in what you have heard; do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations; do not believe anything because it is rumored and spoken of by many; do not believe merely because the written statements of some old sage are produced; do not believe in conjectures; do not believe in that as a truth to which you have become attached by habit; do not believe merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. After observation and analysis, when it agrees with reason and is conductive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

"Why of course the people don't want war....That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

Jill Bolte Taylor: My stroke of insight

This is well worth watching

About this Talk

Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.

Great Shift of Consciousness - The Passion By Gerald O'Donnell

by miramaze @ Saturday, 29. Mar, 2008 - 17:29:40

This resonates with me:

Great Shift of Consciousness - The Passion By Gerald O'Donnell

A great shift is in the making: A time for very deep purification and cleansing from the inner core within ourselves and within the Earth up to the outer manifest reality. How this will all play out is our choice.

Many will understand the need for inner and outer focus on unity and love. However, many others will remain under the grip of their programmed old ways and thus experience this world with much fear while focusing on dis-unity.

This is a time where our greatest force shall emerge from its hidden inner recesses as we face our greatest challenge: a transformation and trans-evolution of mankind when our thought processes transmute from a harsh concentration on lack toward a gentler constant awareness of the beauty and unity of all within the ONE that we all are here to manifest.

This is a time prophesied for aeons where, in this world created around the notion of polarity, the "real" caring and nurturing Female energy is ready to interpenetrate each of our hearts and balance out the Masculine expansive powerful energy that has overtaken alone much of Creation and destabilized it. It is in the balancing and the unity of the two that our inner smiling probable future lies. Please allow this great and sacred energy in, and wish deeply for unity, for in that act lies the path to our happiness and salvation.

All great changes bring about in many much initial resistance, the degree of which will define the course of this Creation for a long time to come.

As many impacting events are about to happen, and even more unfold in the next months and years, often in an accelerated manner, one core issue will emerge as paramount in being the only real question to be asked and the only solution to be had.

"Where does your passion lie ?"
Does it lie upon a world where all thoughts and common efforts are on com-passion, forgiveness, unity, happiness, and the notion that we are all - without any exception -connected within the notion of ONE?

Is it your truest desire to unite the parts within yourself, the family without, and our greatest and most beautiful family: humankind ?

Or does you passion lie upon events, stories, legends, and philosophies which evoke and trigger separation, elitism, fear, violence, control, gore, and the anti-force to the sacred notion of Unity of all and everything within the One and Only?

Do you want to unify all polarities to usher the proclaimed glorious era, or polarize even more? For this is the only question to be asked. Please, I beg of you, watch carefully what you invite in your heart.

If you invite within and resonate only with what unites us as one family and therefore exalts life, then the peace of the ONE, wondrous Creation, and life, longer that you can ever imagine, will be yours.

However, if you invite and resonate within upon visions of death, fear, and all that differentiates, divides, and separates us, then war, suffering, insecurity, and death will be yours.

All great spiritual masters came to tell us of this choice and the two ways of seeing the same reality, and some even expressed it in their lives and experiences on purpose, in order for us to understand the consequences.

A glass is either half full or half empty depending on your focus of attention. Both are true at the same time. It is your focus which will determine which path you will experience. You can either focus on what is lacking, or what is wondrous. You can focus on the unity and common thread of all existence, see the spectacular awe-some reality of creation, and experience the miraculous, or focus on what is lacking and then experience nothingness.

Please do not fall into the trap of "passion" for death again.

Please fall in love with yourself again, and with all your human brothers and sisters. For all are precious, magnificent, and sacred expressions of the ONE life force flowing through all living things.

Happy thoughts and Creation,

Saturday mumbles

by miramaze @ Saturday, 29. Mar, 2008 - 14:21:21

Having the TV on while blogging is a bad habit and it has to stop. Decided. :)

I'm nearly blonde again. The red highlights I had put in have faded. Mind you it's over month ago now, isn't it ? How time flies. I noticed on a TV commercial that Schwarzkop have brought out a hair dye for men. It's a gel- apply , leave on for 5 minutes and wash out. Easy peasy natural colour to cover up grey. :)) Trust men to come up with a quick and easy no fuss solution :)) Funny that.

Vanity. Hair is so important. Shoes and clothes I can take or leave , but hair ...hair is worth investing in. :) Phoebe in Friends told Ross that most of a woman's pheromones are in her hair and that is why women are shorter than men and so when men hug women they get a whif of hair pheramones :))

"The release of pheromones is one of various forms of nonverbal communication many animals use to transmit messages to other members of the same species. The complex molecular structure of pheromones allows these chemical messages to contain a great deal of often very specific information. The pheromone released by sexually receptive silkworm moths, first isolated in the 1950s, is one of the best-studied examples. The pheromone bombykol, released by the female from a gland in her belly, is detectable by male silkworm moths up to several kilometers away. The male identifies the chemical in the environment with tiny receptors at the tip of his antennae and is then able to hone in on the female."

Enough .... I need to go to the Systembolaget for some wine before it closes for the weekend . Toodle pip and happy Saturday blogetty friends

The highest good is like water

by miramaze @ Friday, 28. Mar, 2008 - 22:42:07

The highest good is like water.
Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.
It flows in places men reject and so is like the Tao.

In dwelling, be close to the land.
In meditation, go deep in the heart.
In dealing with others, be gentle and kind.
In speech, be true.
In ruling, be just.
In business, be competent.
In action, watch the timing.

More mira mumbles

by miramaze @ Friday, 28. Mar, 2008 - 13:47:47

Another spring day, with pigeons cooing and making their amorous sounds. At 5 am this morning , I looked out of the window and happened to see the moon - a most beautiful waning golden orb in the pale blue morning sky. I feel so excited when I manage to spot the moon on her ever changing journeys through the sky. She wasn't there last night when I went to bed. Her setting place had also changed.

Plants needed watering - did that :)

Broadband from Comhem has arrived and needs to be collected at the shop. Phoned the Prof to share this good news , as he has promised to help me install the thing. Bless. Also reminded him of his father's birthday today. Happy Birthday Roberto ! Virtual hugs and kisses.

Have been trying to organise my google homepage. Since installing firefox on mac lappy ...hmmm that's a good name MacLappy :) ....there are changes. Templates .. tabs.. add-ons..... it's a jungle out there. Takes time to personalise things .. and I so enjoy personalising things. It takes time and is addictive. Frustrating too when I can't control as I would like lol .. see.. control issues making themselves visible :))

All this before breakfast too. TTFN hope you are all enjoying this wonderful Friday in Blogland. May the Spring Sun Shine on you !

From Maithri's blog

by miramaze @ Friday, 28. Mar, 2008 - 01:57:38

Dr. Maithri Goonetilleke's blog : THE SOARING IMPULSE

http://soaringimpulse.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-can.html

If you cannot feed one hundred people. Feed one. ~ Mother Teresa

........ There are those who will dare you to dream.

But I dare you to set your dreams on fire. I dare you to wake up every morning and whisper to the virgin sky... "I can".

To transpose your life into the key of possibillity.

I know that we are never given a dream without also being given the ability to draw that dream into reality.

I believe we need to create a vision for our lives. To gild it with love and to never let anyone smear or diminish that beautiful picture of what's possible.

And the miracle is... that when we keep that picture in our minds... and we walk towards it with unshakeable confidence, and unconditional love.... Then the world rises up to help us. The universe yields to our touch... It takes our little song and turns it into a symphony... a music beyond anything we could have ever imagined...

So the next time that little voice of doubt, or someone you know, tells you that you cant make a difference in this world. That you can't be the light. That you can't change things...

Close your eyes

and whisper,

'I can.'

My love to you, Maithri "

When you are inspired by some great purpose

by miramaze @ Friday, 28. Mar, 2008 - 01:46:13

I love the way Blogland and blogging works and how the Universe connects and guides us souls in cyberspace. I posted this in one of my blogs last year :

Patanjali : When you are inspired by some great purpose
“When you are inspired by some great purpose,
some extraordinary project,
all your thoughts break their bonds:
Your mind transcends limitations,
your consciousness expands in every direction,
and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world.
Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive,
and you discover yourself
to be a greater person by far
than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”
- - Patanjali

Today I got a message that Maithri ( http://www.blogger.com/profile/17039947095595430108 ) had left a new comment on my "Patanjali" post.

Dear Friend,

Patanjalis words have long inspired me.. helped me to break my bonds... I was looking for the exact quotation today to post to my blog.... and somehow found my way here...

Sending you the love that lights the stars on the tender arms of this evening,

M

I feel as if I've been touched by an angel , honoured and blessed.

Indian

by miramaze @ Friday, 28. Mar, 2008 - 00:16:04

Belly full to bursting after a delightful Indian meal .:) Anna-Stina's treat. Pakoras to start with and then lamb sizzle ( ? ) piping hot in an iron dish for Anna Stina and Prawn curry for me. Nan bread and papodoms. Yummy. I'm so glad I can now parp to my heart's content without disturbing the peace.

At the end of the meal A-S asked if I wanted some Indian tea . I declined at first but she insisted . I can always drink tea- only it turned out to be CHAI .. the milky spicy drink that makes me feel quite sick just to look at :( Sorry. Call me ungrateful but I simply could not drink it just to be polite. I feel awful now :( but would have felt worse had I drunk it . It was an embarrassing end to a lovely meal. The Bollywood music channel on the flat screen nearby helped change the subject :)

The Soul's Challenge
between hope and anguish
in a time of planetary crisis

From the website : http://www.psychosynthesis.net/

" My great-great grandchildren ask me in dreams

“What did you do while the planet was plundered?
What did you do when the Earth was unravelling?
Surely you did something when the seasons started failing,
as the mammals, reptiles, birds were all dying.
Did you fill the streets with protest when democracy was stolen?
What did you do once you knew”
-- Drew Dillinger

lost the sense of our connection as part of the greater web of life. As a result we have inflicted a wound on our world from which it may not recover. Melting ice caps, rising sea levels, extinction of species, denuded seas are some of symptoms of an impending catastrophe. The scale is so great that we can barely encompass it. As individuals we react with denial, frustration, despair and powerlessness; on a collective level we see manic consumption, increasing addiction and desperate escapism. This crisis presents us with an enormous challenge - to face the reality of our current predicament and to recognise that whether the future will be catastrophic or meaningful and sustainable depends on the attitudes and actions of us, as human beings.

The potential tragedy we are caught in is that we have failed to act collectively and decisively, permitting a selfish individualism to hold sway and ruin our world. Yet building a sense of collective awareness, conscience and responsibility is not easy.

How do we all connect around the crisis of the planet? In the words of Albert Einstein:

“humankind experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” In this way we may contribute to the healing of our wounded world as well discovering a new sense of richness and meaning in our daily lives.

The conference will awaken our deep yearnings for union, for wonder and awe – the inspiration and responsibility of being part of the whole. As a community, whether through sharing our grief, exploring new paradigms, prayer & meditation or awakening the warrior, we will work to release ourselves from our conditioned experience of a separate ego existence.

Morning Training Seminars

Training seminars will take place over the four morning sessions. The groups for these will be fixed to give continuity and coherence. Therefore you can only choose one of the Training Seminars below.

AWAKENING BEAUTY IN TIMES OF TERROR Gianni Yoav Dattilo * I've chosen this one .

In a sense, all the contemporary crises can be reduced to a crisis about the nature of beauty. John O’ Donohue

We may awaken to Beauty through a renewed perception of the world ‘as it is’, beyond stereotypes and collective views, in nature, the arts and in ordinary everyday moments. It may evoke a taste of the eternal, breed a generous desire to share with others or stimulate its shadow, which is possessiveness. Beauty has a central place in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and integrates the opposite forces of kindness and power. We will explore our own relationship with beauty in our lives, and experientially find our personal ways to awaken its mysterious force in times of a global crisis."

I'm really looking forward to this :)

Energy Alert

by miramaze @ Thursday, 27. Mar, 2008 - 00:57:29

There's quite a lot going on in our planet, metaphysically speaking.
Here's an Energy Alert http://www.whatsuponplanetearth.com/latest.htm
March 24 , 2008

I found this bit amusing and interesting:

" The ascension process greatly mimics menopause. With short term memory loss, abdominal weight gain, depression, anxiety, hot flashes and night sweats, crying jags and emotional meltdowns being experienced by men and women of all ages, we may wonder what in the world is going on. It is a process of leaving one reality and identity and moving into another. Leaving our old life and old roles behind, just like menopause. "

------- and we get to “retire” into the land of our wildest dreams with perfect companions who fit us to a tea, while we continue to provide our service to the rest of the planet in limited amounts on the dimensional “border” while we reside predominantly in a heaven on earth reality of our dreams…phew!

A sunny day

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 26. Mar, 2008 - 13:17:59

Wednesday and a sunny day it is too.
I awoke at 9 to the sound of pigeons mating again.
Ah the rites of spring- Le sacré du printemps

I have vivid memories of the Cullberg ballet , Nicklas Ek in the leading role, performing this multi- dimensional work of art. Stage filled with half naked dancers, rhythmical dancing to Igor Stravinsky's music. The pulsing and throbbing, the shifting colours, mingling bodies, evoking the Life Force . Kundalini rising.

This is not something that is meant to be understood with the mind , but experienced with every cell of the body  Enjoyable too. No thinking required. just enjoying.

So easy to get carried away .:))

It needs to be said ( see davidjohn 's blog )

by miramaze @ Tuesday, 25. Mar, 2008 - 21:31:13

davidjohn writes in his blog :

" Today it was announced that 4000 Americans have now died fighting in Iraq and almost 200 British members of the Armed forces. In addition between 200,000 and 1.5 million Iraqis have died and those running the UK Government at the time of the invasion of Iraq are still in post or have been promoted. When will these church leaders and the Cardinal in particular begin to see what is really important and speak out against war? Christians true to the teaching of Jesus would not have countenanced the hanging of Sadam never mind all the killing of innocents which has happened and still continues."

I agree. Well said, David. Awareness is the first step to awakening.Thank you for posting this, davidjohn
