It was divine

by miramaze @ Monday, 17. Mar, 2008 - 00:30:21

The massage was divine !

Suwan is really talented. It is obvious that he enjoys what he does and I think he has healing hands too.Back , arms , legs , feet , tum, neck , face , hands ... all got a massage. It took about an hour and half in all and then we drank tea, chatted and I was invited to stay to dinner.

It's fabulous to fee the energies circulating freely through the body and knots and tension dissolving. Pure well- being. I feel reborn , I really do and I am so very grateful.

Suwan has to give 30 massages before he is well and truly qualified. Only 26 more to go and abot 6 people booked in next week. It's the Prof 's turn tomorrow :)

Apart from massage Suwan , who is from Thailand , is also a very good cook. We had Thai tiger prawn soup flavoured with chili and something that resembles ginger but is not ginger and lemon grass, a side of rice and then salad . YUM !

I'm going to sleep well tonight. Love love love to the world  night night blogland

Lovely sleep thanks :) I think that the massage has brought on a de-tox. My cold has broken out and it feels good- if you know what I mean. I would love to do this on a regular basis.

Have a good day , ganesha !

Oooooh, how lovely our Mira; am basking with glee for your soothed being.

Sadly though, I have to confess, I'm forbidden to eat shell fish in any form. That 'iron overload' thingy is denying me favourite dishes; the Thai prawn soup would be one of great many since my diagnosis years ago.

But I'm not sad, not at all; am grateful that it has been diagnosed and I'm still here almost a decade later able to tell the tale. Wouldn't have been had I continued the lifestyle [imbibing daily] and consuming the supposed healthy diet I'd grown accustomed to believe that was good for me. Even took iron supplements at one time. Yikes, was actually killing myself. Are you ready for that from one of the happiest people I know???

Nope; am simply delighted to be 'here & now.' Meditating XX

Lucky that you were diagnosed. What do you like to eat , Neil ?

Ironically, seafood; just about anything from the sea. BTW, if you are or know anyone low in iron, I suggest to consume dultz. [kind of seaweed]. Checked for it online but can't find it. Strange; maybe I'm speeling it wrong. Hehehe

Even my fave, Caesar Salad, has been chopped from my diet; too much iron in the romaine lettuce.

I used to be aenemic Neil, but not any more . Thanks for the tip. :)

Enjoy your fish then :) I hope you discover more foods that you like .

You misunderstood Mira, although I delight in seafood, I'm denied its consumption. Too much iron. How typical yes??? We always want the thing we can't have, or so it seems. But I've grown used to having a bland diet when it comes to food; thankfully my spirit is well fed moment to moment to moment realizing life in my body, here and now.

Yes , I did misunderstand. Thanks for setting me straight. I thought prawns were out , but that other fish was ok

I'm glad you find your own soul food
