Brunch was lovely. We ate and ate all afternoon. The Prof and Johanna liked their Easter eggs filled with sweeties . I have an egg that I fill with sweets for the Prof at Easter. This time each had half a shell containing a big bag of sweets. " you don't get to keep the shell " said the Prof to Johanna , instructing her in the ways of our tradition I was very happy with the bottle of wine and pink tulips they brought me.

It was a lovely cosy afternoon. Even clearing up and washing up was fun. Johanna washed, the Prof dried and I put away. It is not often such efficiency happens in my house and felt a lot like playing.

Hugs and kisses on leaving and I watched them drive away in the two seater car that Johanna had borrowed from her dad's girlfriend. It's one of those very tiny cars that look like toy cars and park in spaces that are too small for other cars

I've just watched a Brideshead Revisted DVD that came free with the Daily Mail and feeling my eyelids getting heavy and sleep beckoning me to Dreamland night night

Home baked bread fresh out of the oven , eggs, freshly squeezed juice, roast potatoes, tomatoes , cheese, greek yoghurt, honey, home made waffles and jam, tea / coffee .
