I was on a bridge at midnight

by miramaze @ Wednesday, 02. Apr, 2008 - 11:45:27

... thought just came to me .. throwing snowballs at the moon .....

In my Dream last night , I 'm on a bus crossing a bridge.
Daylight. A bright and sunny day.
I press the button to get off and the bus slows down enough for me to get off before it reaches the stop and carries on its way.

I walk in the opposite direction of the bus , back over the bridge.
I look down and far below me is water and I can see fish swimming around in the water that look like goldfish.

I carry on walking and sit down by water.
A baby seal pops up .. really sweet ... big brown eyes and comes towards me , about to jump into my lap for me to stroke it , but then a woman appears and her little dog scares the little seal away.

As I start to talk to the woman a bee or could be wasp , with yellow and brown stripes settles on the inside of my elbow and looks as if it is about to nibble or sting. I shoo it away and notice it has left a white bubble the size of a small pea, which I squueze , white pus comes out leaving a clear wound.

I need a plaster, but the kiosk doesn't have one , but then I realise I have one at home so I get one and everything is alright.

THE END

I haven't interpreted it yet, Adam , maybe the answer will come tonight. I remembered the " on the bridge at midnight " song as I was writing about the bridge. Put it in there just to confuse matters ;)

Off too dream some more soon .. night night .. enjoy your dreams

Sounds like things are ok doesn't it? I don't know dream interpretation but 'crossing a bridge' could speak for itself, looking down at the water could be the subconscious in which case it sounds as if you are in a position to look at your thoughts and 'transmute them to gold' - the higher ideal.

The woman and dog could be associated with something/one that 'pricked' you, but you healed yourself by getting back to your centre, not too sure as I obviously don't know what has been happening in your day to day life nor the associations you have to 'woman' - I'm not sure where archetypes come in, whether 'woman' is the feminine receptive side, maybe you weren't because you got hurt but have opened now and are ok?

I usd to enjoy quite interesting dreams, but not doing any 'internal' work now it doesn't seem to happen - or I'm just too doggone tired to remember!

Hope today finds you well M. Have a good one.

Luv'n'hugs, X.

Thanks chassy - I like your take on my dream,:) I appreciate your comments very much. I've not thought too much about it to be honest , but will probably take it up in my next therapy session.

Today is a good day , sunny and spring like - I'm off out for a walk in a minute :)

I hope you feel less tired - what's that all about ?
((((hugs ))))

When I sleep it's deep. I wake in the morning as the ghost of a memory of something I was involved with whisps away, and I cannot bring it back.

Years ago when my husband worked 12 hour continental shifts, I could go to bed for as long as I'd like and would find myself waking every couple of hours with different dreams still very vivid, but it doesn't happen now, 5 to 7 hours usually so I'm out like a light and don't stir much till my partner does. Nice, but not so interesting from the inner work side. I'm sure it all still goes on, I'm just not 'there' so it's not quite as much fun I guess!

Have a good weekend M.

Bye for now  XX.
