I have often thought I have had this and was able to take those risks however lately I am looking at myself very closely and find that it has all been an illusion.
Hence my post on lost opportunities. Ah well at least I am changing and will continue to make progress.-

Very true - I've found it gets easier as I get older, probably because I have learned to be more at ease with myself and care less about what others think. I shall probably turn into a senile delinquent!

i think the ability to open up only comes with age and experience.
