What gives you pleasure ?
For me it can be simple things. Here's my list for here and now :
- homemade bread dipped in really good extra virgin olive oil
- certain colours together ; turquoise and orange , magenta , orange , pink and yellow , gold on cobalt blue ....
- a hot bath
- slipping into bed naked after a hot bath
- a glass or two of favourite red wine , especially when thirsty
- glass of hot water first thing in the morning
- a massage ; Indian head massage, classic massage , shiatsu , reflexology .....
- a café alongé and croissant at a favourite café , especially one with a good view or atmosphere, alone or together with a good friend
- inspiring conversation; emotional sharing , exchange of ideas, opinions , new thoughts arising.
- being able to help someone by giving the name and number of doctor, hairdresser, dentist
- postcards or email messages from friends
- one's child saying " thank you ..... "
- synchronicity ; thinking of someone and then receiving a call from them or a visit.
- discovering i-photos on Mac and seeing what it can do !
- spending a weekend of pleasure away with a lover, involving a stay at a hotel preferably somewhere neither has been before .
- finding a bargain
- hearing a secret or sharing a secret
- a day spent with good friends
- blogging ; every day is a fresh day, no telling where it will lead :YES:
