by miramaze @ Friday, 18. Apr, 2008 - 22:59:33

She's looking fabulous tonight in a clear dark indigo sky. I tried to type by moonlight but I can't see the keys. I think I'll go to bed and moonbathe instead.

Enjoy your evening

Happy birthday to the Prof

by miramaze @ Friday, 18. Apr, 2008 - 15:36:53

Happy birthday .. mamma loves you lots !

" you caught me just as I was brushing my teeth " says he , when I sang happy birthday to him over the phone :)

He and his lady are having a quiet dinner out tonight. Tomorrow is his best friend Filip's wedding reception do so we will be celebrating on Sunday

In the meantime , I helped Gunilla srart celebrating her birthday by doing some serious grocery shopping and PrisExtra .. a huge supermarkket that has everything . All you need is a big trolley, a car and lots of bags afterwards. She is having family over -25 people for dinner - huge quantities of food that I'm so not used to, but we did it , and then afterwards drove out to have lunch at Plå Porten, where I gave he her pressie and hand crafted card.

On the way back I got out at Kungstdrädgården covered in pink blossoms. Walked around and snapped.m away . will share later

Now relaxing with a chilled glass of chardonnay ..mmmmm *cheers* and Happy Birthdays !

xx

Shopping for the Profs present

by miramaze @ Friday, 18. Apr, 2008 - 00:22:58

Shopping for birthday presents is always more enjoyable on a bright and sunny day.
Took the train to Stadshuset and walked up Hantverkargatan , guided by Ove from the beyond. This used to be Ove's part of town and he was a good shopper. Finding the right shop and the right present for the Prof was easy. Thanks Ove . I'm not saying what it is , yet, but I think

Stopped for a coffee and sandwich , perched on a bar stool in the window of a café and watched passers by and then walked into town towards the central station.

The weeping willows were beginning to turn green .
