  • mira's profound insight just now

EVERY person is a link in the chain of my good.

  • mira mumbles around 88

    88 is a good number :)
The number of my friends in Blogland right now .
I like 8 - it looks like the symbol for infinity

    limitlessness

A sacred voice is calling me. :)

I asked a new friend who lives in Cairo how she likes it there.

"I love it! have been in Egypt for 9 years now and mostly I live in Nuweiba,Sinai within the Bedouin Tribal village called El Muzena. Would you come? "

Would I come ? HA !!!! *taken aback by the very thought* This is someone I hardly know. What a thought though !! To dare think such a thought. A Bedouin Tribal village .... El Muzena.. must google that ...... hmmmmmm .... remembers architect friend Roger's Bedouin tales and Gerd's stories of dancing with the Bedouins in the dessert and being nearly abducted by camel man guide while on a camel !!!

"Breathe in the colours of a the rainbow and breathe them out as as your fantasies "

Flying off on a whim , on an adventure , to a Bedouin village ? Flying off into the unknown ?

" Love dances in the freshness of the unknown " is one of my mantras.

The only real obstacle is money.
What would it be like to go wherever you wanted, do whatever you felt like in the moment ?

Hmmm today I feel like going off to Cairo
*mira turns to personal assistant *

" Book me on the first available flight to Cairo ...accommodation etc ... "

*mira picks up passport and essentials for the trip * and heads for the airport.

    :))

    Infinite Truth

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.
    -- J. Krishnamurti

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world...As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
    –- Marianne Williamson

At this stage of initiation, the great mystery of light is revealed. As we grow wiser, we come again, through our sacred meanderings, to the centre of truth. Whatever your tradition or practice, however you offer your skills to the world, trace your roots and find the centre of stillness and peace within. Only from this grace-filled place can we restore the health and well being of ourselves and our planet.

In Sophiological cosmology, Sophia is understood as the Great Womb of the Holy Spirit out of which are birthed seven spiraling streams of divine energy. These streams were said to interface at every conceivable level and frequency, creating the solar systems, galaxies, and universes, and thoroughly saturating them with the spiritual qualities of wisdom and truth.

You are invited to incarnate divine wisdom in your life at this time. Understand that wisdom is your birthright, your true nature. Become a true intellectual, one who engages the full power of the mind, heart, and spirit in the interest of alleviating suffering and making the world a true Garden of Eden

Now I pray that each and every being’s true nature be revealed, that we each see clearly our inherent truth and find liberation from the shackles of suffering and difficulty imposed by the limitations of our mind.
    –Chagdud Tulku

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
    –Mother Teresa

There is no pillow so soft as a clear conscience.
    –French Proverb
