I guess the balcony cleaning will have to wait for another week, to allow them to grow a bit more. Then I think I'll leave the corner for them until they are ready to leave the nest. They will just have to put up with me watering the plants and the occasional smoker.

A lovely sunny day. I heard the pigeons coo a little before one flew off. The other is sitting on the eggs . How much longer ? What if they are never going to hatch ? It's been more than 18 days since I discovered them .
Googled just now to try and find out more.
Seems that pigeons are treated like pests.
" get rid of the eggs " is the advice
" they keep coming back"
" they are dirty and carry mites that cause skin disease "
I don't like what I am reading. 
Dilema .
What to do ?
I do need to clean the balcony .
As much as I like Mr and Mrs Pidge , can they stay there forever ?
Might make a start on cleaning the balcony and leave them their little corner.
