I've just been out on the balcony again and one of the parents is there covering the young pidges
They've eaten the sunflower seeds too.
All is well !

You will never get rid of them.
My uncle used to tell a joke about a man who went to the vicar for advice on how to get rid of the pigeons from his loft.
The vicar said, " Baptise, confirm and marry them, christen their children and they'll only come back for their funeral."

QueeneMab, I kinda agree with you. Hubby wanted to get rid of the baby Java finches once they are old enough and I //refuse// to abandon my babies!!!
Methinks that vicar was wise
