A strömming burger ( fried baltic herring ) at Slussen

Mrs F spotted this falafel and kebab place hidden down an alley in Gamla Stan.

Falafel in pitabread with veggies , hummus, mint  yoghurt  dressing and tomato sauce.in the Old Town , Gamla Stan. Coffee and people watching from a cafe on the main square and then on to Slussen wher we visited the Stockholm Museum  and´went for a wander  around Söder ( south bank ) which is not familiar territory for me and at one point I admit to getting a bit lost . : Fortunately not for long though and soon we were back on track on our way back to Slussen and then the strömming place at  directly after after beer at a pub

In the evening our bcuk  trio  took me out for a lovely Thai meal . The Goddess was present tthat evening , working her magic. Tired but happy ,  I saw her face on my way home , .The last day  with my wonderful blogland  friends.

Hiya Tom :)

yes, I visited and stayed , many years ago :))

When were you here and what brought you here ?

Stockholm has changed a lot over the years. It's far more tourist friendly than it used to be and multicultural and colourful now , but still a beautiful and spacious city on many islands, water everywhere. Maybe it's time to visit again soon ?

It was a computer conference about 20 years ago. I remember it being very beautiful, and I'd love to come again some time.

Cheers, Tom.

I do believe Mrs F has a kebab radar.
