The Prof brought me this figure from his travels around Asia: Thailand,Malaysia,Singapore and Borneo. He was away for two and a half months, on his own travelling around and making friends along the way. He posted this on to me . He'd been home for a few weeks when the parcel arrived. Unfortunately , the head had broken off , but it was fixed instantly with super glue 
I'm not sure what it represents , but I like it very much.

goes away remembering and mumbling about memories of having to weekly dust all those collected 'nic-nacs' mother dragged home from her travels. *'souvenirs' she called them. *First word learned 'en fran็ais.'
