A party to go to and I early forgot too.
I thought it was next Friday.
This is what happens when people send out invitations weeks in advance.
May has whizzed by - it's almost June !
My passport expires in the middle of June which means passport photos need to be taken, forms requested and filled in, photos signed by a British person I think. They have all sorts of strange rules and requirements. I hope there will beno fingerprinting. Fees to be paid too.
I need to do that now before the allergies strike - usually end of May beginning of June. Puffy red and sore eyes won't do.
I remember a lot of fuss at the Embassy years ago when the Prof was born. According to the Brits The Prof was " stateless " and the Swedes said " no such thing as stateless .. he's British " Mrs Peterson , at the Consular Section of the Embassy in Stockholm seemed to take great pleasure in stating that The Prof was illegitimate and a certain course of action needed to be taken : " I suggest you marry your husband , IMMEDIATELY " said Mrs Peterson, sternly. She had a reputation among the ex pats for being quite a battle axe , that woman , until I gave her the Prof to hold while I signed forms. Well ...she absolutely melted " he's got a nice smile " she said and as she started be charmed by the Prof
And so to bed , she said as she climbed on the magic roundabout ..night night blogland
