A plate of king Edwards, boiled , sliced sprinkled with herb salt and fried in virgin olive oil so that they are crispy and brown...especially the crumbs. Melt in the mouth goodness and yet so simple , washed down with a glass of Italian red wine .
I adore these simple pleasures and I am grateful.

With winyip curry sauce the perfect food. It comes in a jar and you add 1 tablespoonful to 3 tablespoonfuls of water and bring to the boil.

They soaked up all the oil, MrsP. These spuds are very absorbant
When Meno arrived we had my freshly baked spellt bread dipped in ecological virgin olive oil to go with thechilled Prosecco .....odd midnight snack , but it worked well I thought
