Me too , Mrs P . I am a true lunatic
... oh la bella luna !
My mum told me that if you slept in moonlight , you would become a slave of the moon. Perhaps it's true. I do moonbathe and challenge this thought often and I must admit to being enchanted.
To me, the moon is not just rock. She is a mysterious mirror. She is the Goddess with direct access to the deepest crevices of our minds and psyche; she knows our secret desires and longings. She shines on a landscape of elusive dreams and fearful imaginings. For us to face these head on,would sometimes be too powerful , so she reflects them cleverly as riddles. She is both ambiguous and enigmatic. She works together with the sun to illumimate and enlighten. The sun shines and she reflects.
Lilies and roses are her flowers.
The moon plays with waters everywhere and creates pools of forgetfullness when things get too much.
The goddess moon is also about fluctuation and confusion and is a patron of creativity and artistic thought; poetry, painting and music . She shines graciously on lovers everywhere. She is sensual, affectionate and tender.
