It's absolutely gorgeous here today , about 23C and I'm still pottering around at home. Things take time. Everything, unless you happen to be rushing around in a frenzy, which I refuse to do. Instead I go from one thing to another , slowly , at snails pace , savouring and enjoying.

Spoke to the pidges first thing this morning about the racket they were making on my balcony practising their take-offs and landings and showing off. They have got quite fearless of me now, but there is still an ounce or two of respect. Mrs Pidge is silent and content to sit on her two newly laid eggs.

Spoke to depressed friend on the phone who was going to come round but then phoned to say that they were not up to it I think I might pop round on my way into town , just for a few minutes.

Rashid has invited me to the cinema. I think we're seeing " The Bucket List" nice comedy / drama - nothing too demanding.

Have also started to plan trip to Canterbury and the EFPP conference. Have booked 1 -11 August and will have to work out details of where to stay and who to decend upon later. Any offers ?
