It's been raining

It's been raining this morning, which is quite good as it is needed. Cloudy and grey now, ab out 12C, which is also OK , for a while. I much prefer the heat, but a day or two of cool can be nice.

While lying in bed reading and thinking and dozing off , I've enjoyed listening to the neighbour's two year old, little Tim , running about all over the place , laughing and sometimes crying. Where do these tiny tots get their energy from ? They are also quite clear about their feelings and don't hesitate to express. :)) Marvellous to be so uninhibited and so unconditioned. :yes: It's Tim's dad's 40th birthday today and they are going to have a party. I expect he's excited too.

Sugar and e numbers unfortunately most of the time, then when they are hyped up they take them to the Quack claiming they are hyperactive and have them put on Rittalin.

oh yes .. I had a client once who had the whole Rittalin experience .. nasty . Other problems were anger management ,and OCDs

Still, I think little Tim was hyped up on all the excitement of the party preparations.

When Moff was small I didn't let her have anything with sunset yellow or some other nasty colourings as she would behave strangely (out of character - agression etc) and bring her up in a rash ( I get a headache from foods with lots of additives) her friends parents thought this was OTT and continued to feed their kids crap and put them on ritalin, better to indulge them with poisonous foods and poison them with medication than say no to them.

Nice use of the ecclesiastical her Mira goes well with Sunday.

BUT

You always are very kind and always give people the benefit of the doubt.

I am inclined to be more harsh, I am afraid they don't care what they do.

Lazy parenting is the biggest handicap for most kids.

I wish I had 1/2 their energy too Mira!

Oh and I hope the sun shines soon too...it can do wonder's for the spirit!

PS. There's a heat wave here still...must be +27 out there now.
