I take the tube into town and get off at the end station and then up the escalator to the exit and these 4 doors.
Time and time again I've noticed people exit by the first three doors , which are always closed.
Me.. I use the open door.. saves having to push ... makes sense to me , but not , apparently to the majority of others.
Why is this ?
I've only ever seen one or two people using the open door .

Same thing happens at the shopping mall near where I work. It seems people would rather push their way through the closed manual doors rather than wait a fraction of a second for the automatic door to open for them.
