Spent hours this evening fiddling around with documents and company and stationery from PC to MacLappy.

I have a company logo as a jpeg which I have emailed to MacLappy and tried in vain to make a decent letterhead on Mac. It takes me a while but I usually work out ways that work for me , but right now can't for the life of me reduce the jpeg logo in size. There must be a simple way of doing this. :roll:

I've also seen some very nice invoice templates in Mac. They seem to contain programmed cells,so when you change figures the calculations go wonky.:**:

Maybe I'll just keep my work stuff on the old PC, but that is a bit defeatist innit ?

i cant help with the pc.
but i can offer a hug otherwise.

tis so frustrating knowing what you want to do,
but unable to make the whole thing come together.
and exhausting too.

you have any tec buddies that could help ?

Yes , tis frustrating , but it will all come together soon , I'm sure. I've already found how to insert and resize the logo by clicking and trial and error. The spreadsheet is trickier though :))

My son is good at this sort of stuff if I manage to collar him ;)

Okay I have the answer for you. And it's Free !-it's a Mac right? I use a PC-Windows, and I use open source GIMP-which is available for Mac-but it is complicated to install unless you are using Linux. I also use Irfan Viewer for the simpler jobs-like a quick resize-but it doesn't work on Mac. Here's your answer.Let me know if you like this idea.

Oh you are a gem :) I have I - photos and am slowly learning to organise pics into albums and events.

Thanks for the link. Problem is , I am quite impatient and want to be able to do things immediately :))

Impatient? No! Here's another alternative-it's free-may be comparable to Irfan viewer for windows-if you do download it-make sure you get the one for MAC.
