The moon for me is a " she " a personification , if you like. The sun is masculine and Gold , the moon is feminine and silver.
Truth be told , my mother tongue is actually Latvian and the moon "menes" ( line over the first e ) is neutral and the sun " saule" is feminine. Even though I live in Sweden I was born and grew up in England , and English is still my emotional language and not Latvian or Swedish.
The moón is also the face of the Goddess

sometimes I think the moon is female then sometimes male, sometimes it's scary and powerful or soft and feminine
Bit like the car!

Hmm your car as the moon .... yes .. I can see that
Scary and powerful or soft and feminine.

I always think of the moon as female. Most of the deities associated with the moon are female (e.g. Artemis, Selene) whereas most of the deities associated with the sun are male (Apollo, Ra, Mithras)
I always like to bow to the moon... I know she sees me

Mira, it is rather interesting to note that you obviously think the moon is female (hence you refer to it as a 'she'). Are you translating from your mother tongue? In Italian (and Latin) the moon is also female (luna-lunae). In English, it is neutral, as it is an object; most objects are neutral, apart from the rare exception, like 'ship', which is referred to as a 'she'.
Incidentally, the sun is 'male' in Latin and Italian.
