The weather is really strange this summer. Not very Swedish at all and more English. Usually summers are either rainy and cold for a few weeks and then sunny and hot for a few weeks, but this year since the middle of May it has been sunny every day, cool , sometimes hot and very changeable.
This morning was cloudy to begin with, then sunny and bright , an hour or two of heat and then threatening clouds and heavy showers for an hour or so. Now, I can see the bright moon rising through the clouds.
Looked in on a friend's flat . Picked mail, emptied rotting rhubarb and lettuce and milk from the fridge and left fresh fruit , bread ,milk and cheese . It's nice to have food in when you return tired from a trip.
I got home tired and ravenous after all the shopping and walking around. Mad myself a sandwich : a couple of slices of crusty Italian country bread, soft creamy blue cheese mashed gently into the bread and topped with slices of tomato and devoured greedily. Food can be orgasmic !! It doesn't have to be complicated. Simple and tasty hits the spot
