Met A-S after work , sat in her back yard and drank wine.
We got through two bottles of wine.
I 'm feeling a little tipsy, but not drunk - it was over several hours , but still , it's been a while since I've indulged and it was fun.
A bunch of people celebrating a girl's 35th birthday were also there as well as grey Persian , James , as in James Bond , a most wild and delightful pussycat who kept trying to get into A-S's picnic basket 
Earlier today , a client's cat Simba , greeted me by licking my toes !!! " " He's never done that before , ever ," said my client.I felt quite honoured and really enjoyed having my toes licked by this gorgeous green eyed cat. I can't imagine why my toes would be so tasty They were newly washed and it was only my right foot 
He did seem to enoy himself
In other news, the Prof and his lady are back from Madeira , all healed , brown and healthy . I am meeting them for lunch tomorrow
