Still waking up ... *yawn and stretch *

Was I tired last night !

Came back from the picnic with the story tellers around 7.30 , ravenous for real food, I put the oven on as soon as I get in, pour myself a glass of Italian red and set about scrubbing and slicing potatoes , chopping onions , garlic and mushrooms. All the ingredients then go into my big cast iron pan, one by one with some olive oil to pre- cook before going into the oven to cook through and brown on top for about half an hour.

Meanwhile ,I put my feet up, sip my wine and watch a short film called " Carnival" about a group of travelling entertainers who arrive at a small town in Colorado , I think, The whole thing takes place about a hundred years ago. Small town mentality and clappy happy jesus people ..." praise the lord " and miracle fake faith healing

This keeps me happy while my meal is cooking in the oven. I then scoff my meal (which really hits the spot and is absolutely yummy) have another glass of wine and start to watch this really weird and slow-moving film called " broken pink flowers " or something like that. It is a bit retro and as I said before ,slow moving so I am fighting to stay awake, but want to know what happens. Nothing much does happen though Disappointing . The film ends and I summon up enough energy to crawl into bed.
