I love plants. Fern and Asparagus plant seem to
love their home ; light from the window and daily showers.
The other day I noticed this " stowaway "- a petunia , I think. I've had petunias on the balcony but never in the bathroom. It must have somehow stowed away in the plantpot when I repotted the Asparagus.
A little miracle !

In the spring I repotted a rather sad looking little plant on my kitchen windowsill.Imagine my great surprise when I was rewarded with a dark blue Lobelia--now rampant and loving the afternoon sun.I love to leave Lobelia,Alyssum and Antirrhinum to seed and spread for the next year.So rewarding and FREE.

I repotted him a few months ago and since August he has been standing in water and sucks up as much as he needs 
Try telling your fern that you are going to leave him for a while , out him in a bucket of water and see what happens
