Obekacha ,dearest pals in Blogland :)

Here I am againg in the Internet cafe in Bradford. £1.50 for americano and inrernet. I've just removed suspicious unidentified object from the keynboard.:) all is well'

£ 2: 80 allows me unlimeted travel for 24 hours around Bradford.

It's odd but also fun being tourist and stranger in the town of my birth. People notice immediatetely that I am an outisder cos I no longer know how things are done here - things that everyone else knows.

At home , mum asks me several times a day what I want for breakfast and while having breakfast what I want for my dinner and what I want for my tea. Bless. I know she means well but it's something I'm not used to living on my own and " don't know " is not an aceptable answer :))

I've climbed ladders , put up curtains, listened to endless babble about boring " important" things and sent telemarketing people packing, though mum is really quite good at dealing with them herself. I did order a pair of shoes for her from DH Williams mail order catalogue following a sales call offering her 20% off for being a loyal customer. :) A bit of luck. What I thought was funny though was that you have to phone a number and then press 1 to order after which the phone goes dead and theh THEY ring you up !

There are some fabulous saris and glittery Indian things in the market. Spices too, I may go back there are get them to mix me a curry blend or a garam masala. Bradford is famous for its curries but you have to know where to go. I had ( small ) fish and chips in town which was only £2 and came with two rounds of buttered brown bread. " small " was quite enough for me

Going out to a friend's for dinner tonight.

Blog meet tomorrow .. yeah !!!.... much love and hugs all round...take care xxx
