Cooking when you can't taste anything is fun !
I reckoned that I might as well ingest a wholesome soup of veggies- that kind that are really good for you.
Into the pot :
carrots
broccoli
onion
5 cloves of garlic
a handful of kidney beans
organic veggie stock cube
tomato passata
small chili pepper
Cook for 20 minutes
Then blitz in mixer where I've previously made pesto sauce and there's a bit of pesto still clinging to the sides
Blitz
Add a splash of white wine
Cut up bits of left over spaghetti in pesto sauce and chuck that in.
MMMMMmmmmm ... surprisingly good
I can mostly taste the sting of the chili pepper and I'm smiling at the silliness and the fact that I've tricked myself into eating things that are good for me
I wonder what I should call this ?
Any suggestions ?
I'll get Gunilla to try some tomorrow and give me her opinion.
